The undeniable bottom line is this: homosexuality harms no one. To persecute and deny rights to persons who have done no harm is immoral.
In response to Maurice H: Homosexuality doesn't "create" diseases any more than heterosexuality does. The phraseology may vary, but if you look at the anti-gay answers you'll see that there are really only two objections to homosexuality. 1) The scriptures of several prominent religions have condemned it as against the design of God. These same scriptures condone genocide, slavery, and the murder of children, so the claim that they are blueprints for living morally can hardly be taken seriously. 2) Some people find the very thought of it icky. Too bad. I don't find the thought of two nonagenarians making whoopee in the nursing home common room after lights out particularly appealing, either, but that's not a good reason for denying them the right to marry.

When I was a Christian, I had no problem with it, so long as I wasn't continuously hit on once I'd said "no thanks". Same with guys.
Now that I'm not a Christian, I STILL have no problem with it, though I realize that just like some men will continue to hit on us married women (even after they know we're happily married with a kid!), some gay people will do the same, because there are people who "get it" and people who "don't" in every type of relationship.
My mom WAS Christian, and now she's not sure about the Jesus as Savior thing, and she DOESN'T think it's ok....because "they can't SEXUALLY reproduce".
Personally, I don't see why you HAVE to sexually reproduce to be married, many straight married couples never have kids, and some straight married couples do who SHOULDN'T. And some straight married couples CAN'T, so they adopt. And if they can, why can't a happy, in love, gay couple do so? Y'know?

Having been the victim of robbery, I completley understand the desire to a) get revenge b) scare future would be theifs That being said, the second shooting (the 5 shots to the stomach) was not needed. Tie the guy up? sure! Give him a couple quick kicks to the face? Of course! Shoot him 5 times, when he's already down? No. - 17R3W

Well, I couldn't care less about what someone else does with another someone else.
But I personally am a little grossed out at the thought of what they do and I have zero interest in it myself. I also think they probably feel the same way about me. So it is all good. I just really would rather not hear about it. I don't talk about my sex life publicly.

I have a brother that is gay and has been for years. Even when I was young, and had no real faith to speak of, it made me sick to my stomach. The thought of my brother having sex with another man made me want to beat the living sh*t out of him. I knew enough to know that a male/female relationship was normal and healthy, as I had had a couple girlfriends. There were queerboys in our neighborhood, and they were disgusting to me. Just to think about a sexual act between two boys or men turned my stomach. I wished even then that they would all die. AIDS was a blessing in my opinion. I hated that innocent people and children died from it, but I felt vindicated every time I heard that a gay died from it. I called it Gods curse upon the fags. That is what we called them, even as kids. Fags. They were never respected nor accepted by me, and they never will be. I love my brother, but the fact that he is gay STILL makes me sick.

There is a whole agenda associated with the homosexual movement. At first, the movement was that people should not be concerned about what other people do in their bedrooms. This was palatable by most people and the movement grew. Also, radical homosexuals aggressively protested against the American Psychiatric Association (APA) and were able to get the APA to change their policy that homosexuality was Not a disorder. The homosexual movement continued to push for homosexual marriage being equal to marriage between and man and woman A major obstacle standing between the homosexual movement and attaining full rights as married couples and promoting other homosexual rights are Christians.
Most Christians believe that homosexuality is wrong because it is clearly stated in the Bible that homosexuality is an immoral behavior. That's why homosexuals attack Christians and want to lessen or completely eliminate them politically. Its interesting to note that whenever homosexual marriage is voted on state by state, that it always loses. So most people are against homosexual marriage being legalized. However, activist judges have legalized homosexual marriage. Most of the time these ruling are overturned by higher courts. The ACLU is a major contributor to the homosexual movement and activist judges.

I personally just feel it is not natural. I just can't imagine this for my self. To each their own. It is, I feel man with a woman. That is the only way to reproduce. If anything else was meant to be, then why is it animals ain't gay? I don't think same sex should be able to marry. I have to pay for my own health insurance and it's not cheap. I don't feel someone of same sex should be allowed this benefit unless it is man and women.

I think none of us should judge. Homosexual and heterosexual are all sinners. Who among us can cast the first stone? We are all sinners in our own ways. Christians should practice what they preach and accept differences. Jesus was friend with sinners and he forgave everybody. Lets do the same thing.

I'm not a christian and there is nothing wrong with it. Why do some people want to stick their noses into other people's bedrooms in the first place anyways? I've never understood that.
