Looking to purchase a solo x but i am not aware of amplifiers capable of powering this sub any suggestions would be great. Thanks. Also does anyone know other brands of subwoofers with relatively the same specs as the kicker solo x 12 inch?

i went to e-bay a while ago and there is a store on there called indo audio. they have a couple of amps kicking out 2000 watts that have 2 channels. i cant remember the name of them but its the amp that you have to worry about. not the subs. they just wont thump as loud. smaller amp = less thump. just make sure your subs will hantle the number of watts

The solo x is the main significant sub, they don't seem to be to blow. i individually do not be responsive to the type you blew 2 1200 watt subs on a 1500 watt amp, could desire to've been a wiring difficulty. yet yeah the solo x is a ludicrous subwoofer. i'm not effective concerning the 12", yet i'm surprisingly effective the 18" is 10,000 watts max capability.

I have over 50 brands of amps so the better question is what is your price range and how many watts you looking for? Let me know i will get you some prices and you can see how they compare...
