When Adam sinned, he took the entire human race with him. everyone is guilty from birth. We have a sin nature ingrained so deeply that even infants are born into this state.

Catholics see the rite of a baptism as being effective in removing original sin.

Arminians deny original sin, or at least minimize it to a sin nature that we are accountable for after the age of reason.

Calvinists see everyone as standing condemned before God via at least original sin, except for His saving grace, given unto His elect from before the foundations of the world.

In Christianity, the Doctrine of Original Sin is the reason that there is a need for salvation through Jesus' crucifixion. However, this doctrine was invented by Paul and it is strongly negated in the Old Testament (see Ezekial 18:20, Jeremiah 31:30, Deut. 24:16). This doctrine is an attempt to escape the responsibility of righteousness with the belief that punishment is given to someone else to release us from our burden of sins (see Ephesians 1:7, Romans 4:25, 10:9, Corinthians 15:21) In the Qur'an, every soul is responsible for its own deeds, good or bad (see 74:38,41:46, 3:25, 6:154).

Jesus didn't die on the cross nor was he resurrected. If he were resurrected, then he would have come to his disciples in a spiritual body. As shown in Luke 24:36-43, he met them with his physical body after the event of his alleged crucifixion. In the Qur'an, it says that Jesus was not crucified, but it was someone else who was made to look like him (see 4:157,158).

Adam and Eve sinned by choice , they were responsible for that and WE are not responsible for their sin but our own . We are born of a corruptible body and we have the free will to choose to sin or not. A baby is not held accountable for ADAM and EVE's sins so that if an infant dies he/she will be saved.
There is no such DOCTRINE as the Original Sin in God's word.

Religion must create an illness that they can cure you of so they say that because someone ate an apple you are born a sinful person. Actually the story of Adam & Eve is a crock because people of the same family who produce children are always born with genetic deformities. But they gave you an illness. 'Original Sin' and now they give you the cure, 'their Beliefs'. Problem solved, providing that you put something in the collection basket.

It is the doctrine of the Catholic church. The problem is there is no such thing. There is no mention of it in the Bible. We inherited a human body from Adam and Eve. As a result of their disobedience, are bodies are only given a limited life span. You need to read this. " The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son." Ezekiel 18:20.

See it says "the soul that sinneth, it shall die." You and I are responsible for our own sins. Not those of Adam and Eve. They made the choice to disobey.

They died, just as we will. But, by the grace of God, and the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Our sins, and those of Adam and Eve have been forgiven!

But, we have to pay for their mistakes by dying. They corrupted our DNA. They caused a gene mutation that makes us grow old.

Children who have not come to the age of accountability and infants cannot sin! They do not have the mental capacity to know what is right and wrong. To sin you must know what God requires of us. A transgression of His law is called sin.

" For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Romans 6:23.

. The first sin was an attack on God’s sovereignty.” Yes, “the tree of the knowledge of good and bad” symbolized God’s prerogative to set the standards for man as to what is approved or what is condemned. By refusing to obey God’s law, man was calling into question God’s very right to rule over him. Jehovah justly answered the challenge by allowing man to rule himself. Wouldn’t you agree that the results have been disastrous?—Deuteronomy 32:5; Ecclesiastes 8:9.
That is why the Bible’s theme, God’s Kingdom, brings so much hope. By means of that Kingdom, Jehovah promises to end oppressive man-rule soon and replace it with His rule—a government that will restore an earthly paradise—something Adam and Eve forfeited.—Psalm 37:29; Daniel 2:44.

The thought of "unique sin" became concocted by utilising Augustine almost 4 hundred years after Christ so as that he would desire to justify his over indulgence to sin. Romans 5:12 tells us that sin got here into the international while Adam disobeyed God. the effect of that sin became non secular death - separation from God. The verse is going directly to let us know that all and sundry in view that then has additionally sinned. It would not say, as some people attempt to stress upon the textual content, that we inherited sin from Adam. that's an assumption it incredibly is compelled into the textual content. In John 3:7 Jesus tells us that "Flesh provides beginning to flesh, however the Spirit provides beginning to spirit." In different phrases - as quickly as we are born, we're not non secular. without a non secular connection to God, we stick to the impulses of our bodies. We do what feels sturdy. there's no longer something inherently sinful approximately our emotions or actual pleasures. Sin is a dedication to what pleases us without regard to God's will. in view that we initiate at beginning to do what comes clearly - enjoyable our actual desires - we discover ways to commit ourselves to our very own exhilaration. As we improve and start to grow to be conscious that there is a few thing called "top and incorrect", that's as quickly as we grow to be conscious that we've been searching for self-fulfillment rather of God's honor. that's as quickly as we are dealing with temptation. James 2:14-15 says "every person is tempted while, by utilising his very own prefer, he's dragged away and enticed. Then, after prefer has conceived, it provides beginning to sin; and sin, while that's finished-grown, provides beginning to death." observe that the temptation comes first. It leads to sin, and sin leads to death. we don't initiate with a sin nature.
