i have 5 kids my 2 yr old and 3 yr old started the stomach flu today about 3:00 and the other started at 7:00 both in the pm the rest of my kids already had it i called there doc on cal the called in a suppository in to help stop with the vomiting.. what is the diffrence between tigan????? and tebamide????also im pregnant and i worry that im going to get it...this happened um alomost 2 yrs ago and i was pregnant at the same time and me and hubby were unaffected will it still be that way...i know nobody really knows the question..lol is this more a child hood illness?? let me know what you all think thank you all for your time and answers... nicole..

Nothing. They are both brand names for trimethobenzamide. It's just made by two different manufacturers.

I can only address the childhood illness - it is a good thing (in terms of necessary bacteria) for the kids not to be over-protected against germs. The lack of them seems to be a factor in things like lung and breathing problems according to one of the National Public Radio shows I heard earlier today. There is a distinct relation based on the affluence of the parents (if you have money you can be more protective).
