Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ. And this I say, that the covenant, that was confirmed before of God in Christ, the law, which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot disannul, that it should make the promise of none effect. - Gal 3:17

In 1435 the Portugese began removing Israelites from West Africa. If the slaves were freed in 1865 (marked by the surrender of General Lee in the Civil War), could this prophecy refer to those who were brought to America in ships?

And the LORD shall bring thee into Egypt again with ships, by the way whereof I spake unto thee, Thou shalt see it no more again: and there ye shall be sold unto your enemies for bondmen and bondwomen, and no man shall buy you. - Deu 28:68

Are Black Americans descendants of Israel? Surely this prophecy does not fit the heritage and history of people who call themselves Jews today. What do you think?

Since the sister before already cleared up the Egyptian misunderstanding, I'll clear up the Moses thing.

Exo 4:6 And the LORD said furthermore unto him, Put now thine hand into thy bosom. And he put his hand into his bosom: and when he took it out, behold, his hand was leprous as snow.

Would this really qualify as a miracle, if Yahuwah had turned a white person's hand white?

Let's not be ridiculous here. Actually among the ancient Israelites, a person was leprous if there skin was turning white. I don't have enough space to qoute all of the laws behind it. Anyone who is interested, can read the scriptures themselves and see that Leprousy in scripture was the turning white of the skin.

Act 21:38 Art not thou that Egyptian, which before these days madest an uproar, and leddest out into the wilderness four thousand men that were murderers?

Here we see a man asking Paul if he was Egyptian. How could he mistake a white man for a Black Egyptian? Keep in mind this was before the Arab's conquered the land of Egypt, which means land of the blacks in greek, so the natives were not the people known as Egyptians today.

A Roman Historian Cornelius Tacticus, who lived in the first century, reported in his book, The Histories:

"Many, again, say that they (israelites) were a race of Ethiopian origin, who in the time of king Cepheus were driven by fear and hatred of their neighbors to seek a new dwelling-place."

How could one think a race of anglo-saxons were of Ethiopian origin? Case closed. Another interesting fact is that quote from Duet 28 is something that was said would happen to them after their bondage in Egypt or Khemet (Jet Black), as they called themselves.

And the in ships part, narrows down the speculation. Also, it is funny that slaves who could not read or write were calling Him Yah, while the Western world called Him Jehovah. And they were using Hebrew words such as Massa (oppressor). Let's not forget the slave song Kumbayah, which is Hebrew, "come by here Yah(uweh)"...

It is quite obvious that you haven't the foggiest about true slavery. You need to do some research on what true slavery was and is about instead of your uneducated version. In slavery, for the most part, you receive no pay for your labors. You did what you were told or you were legally beaten, tortured and sometimes killed. You could be sold like an animal and separated from your family members at the masters' whims. The women/girls could be forced to have sex with any one at any time. There was no quitting, only escaping with the threat of death if caught. A work day was whatever you were told it was to be. Since there were no wages, no lack of time and a half to complain about. Your version of slavery is an insult to the descendants of the slaves of this nation and others. With the unemployment rate as high as it is today there are many people that would love to just have a job. If you were one of them you could appreciate the opportunity to have a pay check. If you don't like working for someone else, you are in the land of free enterprise.Start a business of your own, then you could show how you think it should be done. Maybe if you could run a large corporation with a lot of employees you would find out there is more to running a successful business than trying to satisfy not only the employees but your customers also. Find time to be grateful for the positives in your life because there are plenty of people that would trade places with you in a heartbeat.

Israel is in the Levant, on the east shore of the Mediterranean. That's a loooooong way from West Africa. The slaves brought to the New World are *NOT* Israelites.

I think you're confusing metaphor with reality; American slaves often identified *spiritually* with the Israelites because they tarried long in captivity and were eventually delivered from bondage.

And before you start swallowing any more revisionist nonsense, the people of ancient Egypt were *not* 'black' in any meaningful sense; Egypt is an African nation only in the sense of geography. Egypt was (and largely is) a Semitic nation with a Semitic language; otherwise Moses could not have lived among them undetected as an Israelite.

Yes the people know as "Afrian Americans" are Israelites. Think about it, why since slavery even to today people have always came up with some excuse to keep blacks from looking at history. What is it they don't want them to know.

Willie Lynch said:
Our experts warned us about the possibility of this phenomenon occurring, for they say that the mind has a STRONG DRIVE to CORRECT and RECORRECT itself over a period of time if it can touch some SUBSTANTIAL original historical base and they advise us that the best way to deal with this phenomenon is to SHAVE OFF the brutes mental history and create a multiplicity of phenomena of illusions.....

How many times you hear someone say forget the pass? The mind is trying to correct and recorrect itself but only if it can touch some orginal history.

Not sure about the whole theory, but just want to make one fact straight, especially after reading the response from dukfeneton... Egyptians were certainly not white as some of the history books want to show. they were dark people, if you actually look at their artifacts, statutes, they are dark brown, dark-redish, with coarse hair, that show they were somehow mixed. South Egyptians (ancient Nubia) is all populated with very black people. The mere reason why some refused to believe that is that egyptians were such a superior nation and people, it is not easy to accept that afterall, they were black! It is like some of the paintings of Christ, blond with blue eyes!

No. But I am sure somebody could prove the point.

There is a group of blacks in South Africa who are practicing Jews and say they are the lost tribe of Isreal.

A DNA profile was done to see if they match the general Jewish and Arab population of the Middle East.

As for the Bible, I am not a Christian and don't believe in any of those stories.
