Vicariism: states that God speaks through all of His creation not exclusively the Bible, Koran, Torah, etc… The more we learn and teach, the closer we are to God. Creation is a form of expression so there’s a message from God behind all that exists, behind our emotions. Everything holds the spark of divinity, but we must use new vicarious experiences, not biblical dogma or repetition, to realize inner peace.

The symbol of Vicariism is the Egyptian god, Abraxas, who has many forms all which stimulate our creative thought. It represents God’s changing form and our inability to share a single vision of God. The religion was started by Christian Buddhists and like Buddhism, it is not mutually-exclusive.

Gaia Theory: based on the idea that evolution is creating a more complex being (as it has been doing so for billions of years). This new being is the combined spiritual and mental power of all living creatures on the planet. We humans haven't progressed enough to create Gaia yet, but we inevitably will. When the planetary Gaia awakes it will provide us with great power and security. A “Garden of Eden,” but with our incredibly advanced technology and huge population.

The Gaia Theory empowers us to a wonderful future, is based on evolution, and does not hamper freedom of actions or beliefs. Oddly enough, when we are living in peace with Gaia in a wonderful Garden of Eden, we still would not have met God. We've simply gone up another rung on the evolutionary ladder.

Vicariism? As for Egyptian gods, remember the Isrealites in the wilderness, and the golden calf. Christian Buddhists? No such person. A christian can never be a Buddhist! It's not what sounds nice, but the truth that matters!

Ah, but you forgot to mention the hottest new religion of all.
It's called Halloweiniebotulism. The primary idea is...everyone gets together on Halloween. THen they eat hotdogs that are rotten and get botulism. While they're throwing their guts up they have visions of the Great Halloweinie. He's sorta like the Great Pumpkin, but even better. I'm pretty sure he was on a commercial not long ago...anyway, there's chanting like "mustard, ketchup, onions, relish..." and so on. Half of Hollywood is doing it now. They're always the first to try new stuff.

What did Martin Luther, the Protestant Reformer, state about the Bible? In his "Commentary On St. John," he stated the following: "We are compelled to concede to the Papists that they have the Word of God, that we have received It from them, and that without them we should have no knowledge of It at all." Regardless of what non-Catholic Christians may think or say, according to secular, objective historians, the Catholic Church alone preserved Sacred Scripture throughout the persecution of the Roman Empire and during the Dark Ages. All non-Catholic Christian denominations owe the existence of the Bible to the Catholic Church alone. Why did God choose the Catholic Church to preserve Scripture if It is not His Church?

>>>>"Do not devote your attention to the fallacies of artificial discourses, nor the vain promises of plagiarizing heretics, but to the venerable simplicity of unassuming truth." St. Hippolytus ("Refutation Of All Heresies," c. 205 A.D.)

The religions with all of their sects now total over 1500. If we need a new religion the one that could get God to show up is all that we need.

New religion is not necessary for changing world. We'd better change ourselves. Eyes to eyes makes us blind.
