Question

let say you in a relation ship for 5years and everything is fine but you grew appart, after talking short brake
you want to break up and call the guy to schedule meeting
he doesnt want to and you are force to breake up with him over the phone ...while still knowing he loves you very much and he is hurt

the fact that you had to do it over the phone not in person....how would it make you feel?

I should make it more clear
I'm the guy in this situation and it was the second time she was going to break up with me
I just wanted to have some control over the situation and not let her do it like she wanted to because weeks prior she has been very cold to me

In person is better. Over the phone makes girls sad and miserable. They might not be able to show their face around you if you brake up with them over the phone.

I would be OK with doing the break up over the phone since he chose not to see you in person. He may still love you but your desire to end the relationship tells me you are ready to move on. He, like the rest of us, will "get over it" in time and love from someone else. Go on living your own life and dont get dragged down by guilt.

It sounds to me like he knew what was coming and was trying to manipulate the situation. You did the right thing. You tried to break up in person...if he isn't man enough to face you, then you were right to leave, because life is crap sometimes...and you want some one beside you who will face straight on...not procrastinate and pretend all is good. Don't waste another worried minute on this. That is what he is banking on.

i would feel bad but he brought that on himself if he would not schedule a time to see you then it is his fault not yours sometimes you dnot have a choice but to do those kind of things since the longer you let this go on the harder it would ahve been for him. he should relaize that there was no other way just dont do this to someone woh you ahve a choice to talk in person or on the phone cause that is careless and cruel but in your situation you did what you had to do since he was not helping the situation out

Personally i would be ticked at him for not meeting. If you had been together for 5 years he should have enough respect for you to meet in person. It sucks to break up over the phone, but i would be very suspicious of why he didn't want to meet.

It would hurd I thank it sould be done in person. but if the person don't want to be with the other and it over you need to go on with your live. it takes time but it well happen. break up are hard and you dont just fall out of love over night. you find some one the well love you as much as you love them.

Sounds like he doesn't want to meet with you because he knows it's coming. Stress to him that you need to discuss something with him very important and that you want to do it face to face. If he still doesn't want to, then he leaves you no other choice.

sumtimes over the phone is better becuase you might be able to express yourself more clearly.. because in person you might get nervous.. so just make the best of it over the phone...good luk =]
