If you believe it, WHAT kind of God are we talking about? A disembodied Spirit? An entity with some kind of physical body? A Divine force that pervades the universe? Something else?

people who believe in God simply believe in God for two reasons:
1)They were told to believe in God
2)They fear the unknown, and religion gives them answers

God is spirit and love, have you ever been convicted by your conscience when you have done something that you knew you werent suppose to,that is your spirit grieved/ God works in mysterious ways He is not an entity that you see,He is Divine and I am sure He could pervade anything if He wanted to He wants contentment and peace in your life He has shown us the way to His kingdom(His way of doing things)and the true
love we all search for that fills us with so much joy

I agree with Nicholas H, the main reason people believe in some kind of spiritual leader is because they're scared, frightened, were told to, or is an explanation for the unknown. A lot of the time they are forced to grow up with these beliefs. And in the matter of them not understanding anything so they would use religion, they could simply read a science book or google their question. I am a 14 year old brought up christian but became atheist around 10 or 11 after reading several books by execelent scientists such as Steven Hawking.

A transcendent Deity who perpetually creates the fabric of the universe by actualizing potential forms. God is the source of all, the prototype for all things, and the energy that binds the universe together and drives it toward its ultimate conclusion. Anything (act or being) that contributes to the final purpose of the universe derives energy and being from God. In this sense, God possesses all positive attributes. Evil is temporary and negative, an absence of good.

I do not try to prove the existence of God, but modal logic applied to Anselm's Ontological Argument is at least enough to justify a belief in God, and defines his essence as the totality of all properties that are the result of pure attribution; i.e. that are not a part of the accidental structure of the universe.

God is infinity itself. As long as there is infinity, there is a God.

Existence cannot be less than infinity because there would be a nothing beyond it. A nothing is a something as defined by its border to a something. The nothing is the border. Therefore, there is infinity.

Furthermore, a finite universe of this infinity has a descrete form. The form had to be generated within the infinity (which is obviously beyond the form). Since the finite universe is generated within and by the infinity, it is as though it (the universe) is being created. A creator is given the name God. Therefore, infinity is God.

God is over our minds ,so no body can tell how is he ,because he made the brain for you ,so what ever the humans made of coputer or some they still don't have the much mind to know how the God is ,,because he is the lord he is over every thing he is your lord even if you don't beleive , so trust me and just believe in him he is the lord and don't think about anything like that(how is he , or why or........) because that will put you in trouble

I am a Pagan, actually I am a polytheist. One of my male (top male) entities that I believe in is the Creator Jehovah, I AM. God or Goddess, whatever you choose to believe in the WHY is simple.
In order to find balance, happiness and kindness within yourself, you must believe in a benevolent source outside yourself that is stronger and bigger, that can catch you when you fall and protect you from yourself.
You have a piece of God within you compelling you to ask the big questions. Listen carefully and you will find the right answer, grasshopper.

Because I don't know why birds made nest. I don't know why bees make honey. I don't know why we have computers and cars and airplanes. I don't know why there are clouds and Sun and stars.... and the moon light. Why we have big Mountains and snow and beautiful views. All of that can't be evolve from MONKEY, right?

So yeah there is God, and I do believe God exists.

I used to believe but things have changed as I cannot believe that things in this world are the way they are, and from what I have learned as a youngster about god, seem to be falsehoods in this day and age. I also find it very hard to believe each fable in the bible now days, it is too far streatched in my opinion.

I believe in God because of many reasons, 1st its the way i was raised and faith is good to have. Not only does it make me feel better but it makes my life better. And for all those who dont believe i have an interesting little quote for you. This shouldnt be your main reason to believe but its something to think about "Better to die believing, finding there is no judgement and saying "oh, sh!t" than to die not beleiving, finding out there IS a judgement and sayin "oh, sh!t!!"
