I might take a lot of lashing for this, but if Children's Tylenol or Children's Motrin will bring her fever down, I wouldn't rush to take her in; I would wait and see. If she's not keeping anything at all down then maybe take her in, but you can try Ginger Ale (not Canada Dry, the real stuff, Hansen's makes good stuff) to help settle her stomach. With my kids and the over the counter stuff keeping the fever down, I would wait a couple days to see if they beat it on their own.
Really though, you know your child better than anyone. If you are freaking out then by all means, take her in.

First of all make sure she drinks plenty of fluids (you don’t want her to get dehydrated) if she continues to have the fever for three days take her to the doctor. In the meanwhile see if she starts to pull or tug at her ear or if it seems that it is painful for her to swallow it’s an infection. There is a stomach virus going around my three year old son had it three weeks ago so if she throws up again and/or his loose stool it could be that, also watch her bowel movements, when was the last time she had one, if she is constipated that also can cause a fever and vomiting. And finally it could be a cold if she is coughing, sneezing and/or has a runny nose she could be developing a cold and the mucus build up could be causing her to have a fever and throw up.
Hope she feels better

it could be the flu. but since your daughter has a high temp you need to get her checked out asap. i had to rush my daughter to the emergency room the day after christmas because she was vomiting, had diarrhea and had a temp of 104, that i could not get to go down. we got to the emergency room and she got checked out and they ran tests on her and she had the flu. don't wait, get her to the doctor~~~better to be safe than sorry!

It could be nothing or it could be something serious - with vomiting and that high of fever you need to call a doctor.

It's probably a cold, flu, or maybe pneumonia. You should see your daughter's doctor as soon as possible.
