I actually bought one at Wal-Mart. Beware, the batteries run out within a matter of hours. I pitched mine after about a week.

There are several on the market now. Most of them are circular and are made to stick underneath a surface (like a cabinet) or on their side (on a wall). All you have to do is tap them and they turn on. My mom actually has 4 of them under the cabinets in her kitchen she likes to use when all the other lights are off.
I have used them in small closets that don't have a light. They come in many sizes. the smaller they are, the brighter they seem to be. You can find them all over. I have seen them at Wal-Mart, Rite-Aid, and the As Seen On TV Store.

I saw one several years ago, but nothing recently. It would be a good idea to have one in areas where the power goes out occasionally.

I don't know about a night light but they do have lights that mount in closets or in other places that you touch and they come on
