You could add cream of mushroom soup & ground meat & some sices such as garlic powder, creole seasoning, red pepper flakes, etc
Add tuna, peas, cream of mushroom soup, & seasonings
Mix with chili, picante sauce &/or peppers
These are a few of the ways that I have added to my mac & cheese, but I don't do boxed mac & cheese. I use macaroni, velveeta & just enough milk to make it creamy. Yum,Yum~now I'm hungry!! I hope that you like some of my ideas & try them sometime~Enjoy!!

Adding the box in with the mac and cheese would not only make it more tasty, but it adds fiber too.

Seriously, just don't buy the stuff anymore. The stuff has zero nutritional value.

Top your mac and cheese with..
salsa, chili (canned or homemade), applesauce, apple slices, Italian Seasoning, Mexican Seasoning, other spices, or spice combinations, canned tuna, diced leftover chicken, little smokey sausages, chopped up hot dogs, fried or scrambled eggs, crumbled bacon, seasoned croutons, baked beans, diced fresh veggies like carrots, onions, green onions, fresh chives, green or red peppers, tomatoes,

Ummm.... have we cleaned out the cupboards and fridge yet? Put your mind, and your tongue to it and you will never eat plain mac & cheese again.

Add some spices. Cilantro. Paprika. The stuff in those Italian Seasoning bottles. Salt. Pepper. Anything you can add to pizza. Experiment a bit.

I always add extra cheese Velveeta is the best. Maybe add some pepper or red pepper flakes if you like spicer food.

Fry some ground beef, mix it into your mac and cheese.

If making it for yourself (no kids that don't like spicy foods), add a little chili powder or habanero peppers.

The extra Velveeta is good but also top with grated cheddar and melt over top in oven.
