I know exactly what happened. When I lived in Florida, one of the hurricanes hit my city and most people evacuated. I drove to Atlanta with a dog that just couldn't stop stinking up the car. I turns out after the hurricane and a quick visit to the vet to only be an infection around his anus. Dogs lift their leg to pee on everything it seems but what they're really doing is releasing some kind of identifying hormone thing from a pore close to their butt-hole. The vet will probably give your dog a shot and some kind of medicine and it will heal within a few days.

Dogs get gas for lots of reasons, he might have a mild stomach upset that will resolve itself, or he may have picked up something that disagreed with him, like a table scrap or somehting off the ground. I live with 6 dogs and sometimes for no reason we have to clear out a room. If its so unpleasant you are worried the vet may have a prescription diet that might help.

Well if it's not getting better you need to see if it's gotten into somethig outside. If not you may have to tke it to the vet cause there could be a number of things wring. Stress can also cause your dog to have gas. Please check with your vet asap that is the best advise I could give you if it doesn't go away in a another day or 2.

I've not got any great answer for this one but do wonder if you are being kind to pooch and giving her "people" food now and again. Some people have been known to slip pooch some beer which is a no no!
Could be the age of your dog also. If it continues and is worrisome to you take pooch to to vet. If all else fails buy a clothes peg. (grin)

Intestional problems can often be related to stress. If there has been any change in your schedule, or the dogs, this could be the root of it. Also yogurt that contains active probiotics help with intestional problems by promoting healthy bacteria growth.
