i see sooooooo many replies in the tattoo section about someone who has a tattoo being a bad role model, or them not being able to explain their tattoos in the future when they have grandchildren.
be realistic! if you found out one day that your grandmother/grandfather had a hidden tattoo that they had gotten in their younger party days, would you actually say those rude, mean, and nasty comments that you say to people here on Yahoo Answers?
i recently read a comment from a female about no mans ideal wife having ANY tattoos. if that was your mother, would you not want you mother to be happy just because she has a tattoo?
if your grandfather had served in the navy in his 20's, and gotten a tattoo during that situation, and 50 years later it doesn't look so good, are you really going to tell him that he is trashy? are you going to look your grandfather in the eyes and call him an idiot and tell him how dumb of an idea it was?
honestly!

and i know that some people who make those nasty comments have at least one person in their family with at least one tattoo, and they wouldnt dare to think about making those types of comment to them.
would you call you aunt and tramp because she has a tattoo, or slutty, or a hoebag? would you?
people can be so ridiculous!!

My grandma has three tattoos and I think she is the best. She took me to get my first one. It's not about right or wrong its about expressing yourself and feeling comfortable about doing so.

i assume as each question comes new they are published in a prevalent web site so all categories are listed. i do no longer think of for the main area they arrive right here purely to try this. besides the shown fact that, i think of that's harassment if the guy is calling a question approximately tattooing, no longer for an opinion OF tattoos, and that they get that kind of answer. it may well be as undesirable as though somebody became asking how nicely minoxidil works and that i responded with ..ewwwww...I hate bald people. heavily. i might and do checklist the respond. If a pair people try this, the respond would be eradicated. purely like those stupid direct mail solutions promoting epidermis stuff and nikes.

none of my grandparents have tattoos but i think it's cool when older people have tattoos. especially when they aren't ashamed of them. when they can look at that tattoo, no matter how faded or green and remember the good old days and remember what it was like for them to be young.
i don't think that people with tattoos are bad role models. my children will have tattooed parents and grandparents. my mom and dad are both getting their second tattoos at a convention in march and i am so stoked!! they are going to the convention for the whole weekend!!! i say yay for tattoos and boo to all of the jerks who are just being what they are... jerks.

NO WAY! I LOVE MY GRANDMA AND GRANDPA!

Anyway, I think tattoos are cool. My bf got two sleeves, one on his back, and one on his stomach. He wants to put more, and I don't mind so long as the money he uses for it was "saved" and not just like he went to the ATM and took out 300 bucks on payday kind of a thing. I don't have any. I'm pregnant right now, but I plan to get one as soon as I give birth and lose all this fat I added on my body these past nine months! I wanted one before I got pregnant but couldn't decide on the design. I'm all for self-expression.. so yeah...!!

Nope...tattoo's are a work of art...no matter how discolored or saggy they may get to be. The people making those comments must be the Jesus freaks who cant take their OWN advice on a verse that was written in the bible...eh hem..."THOU SHALL NOT JUDGE"...but hey...they live in their own world and hide behind their computers.

Awesome statement!!!!! Tattoos are personal and if you're into them do it, don't judge!!! We are all individuals and some of us like to show it more than others

great comment!

why would i hate my grandparents for having a tatoo? if that's suits them and makes them happy, then their happiness is mine too.ü and people not only grandparents are often accused of bad things just because of tatoos..how judgemental.
