There will be witnessing during the trib and people will get saved. We know that nobody gets saved without the Holy Spirit convicting them of their sin(s). So yes, the Holy Spirit will be at work during the trib.

No, the Holy Spirit will not be here. He is the Restrainer. Once the Restrainer is removed, the Antichrist shall come on the scene full force. II Thessalonians 2:7 "For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way."

.. until he be taken out of the way... refers to the Holy Spirit. Who at this time is restraining the Wicked from coming upon the stage. Once the Holy Spirit is removed then and only then will the Wicked come and reveal himself as God.

It all depends on which time you believe the "catching up" takes place.

The Holy Spirit returns to hovering the world, as it is stated in Genesis 1:2 "And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters."

The tribulation/great tribulation is actually for the Jewish people. Even though there will still be Gentiles here. The 144,000 witnesses will be speaking to the Jewish mostly and those Gentiles that will hear as well.

It will be like the days of Jonah.. the days of Noah... Revelation 3:10-11 God gives His people a promise, many over look this as being part of the "catching up".

The Holy Spirit is a BUFFER to prevent the Great Tribulation until it is God's time to permit the Tribulation.

The Holy Spirit was given by God to man after the ressurection of Christ, as a spiritual comforter to the believers of God.

God will REMOVE the comforter [Holy Spirit] from mankind, and this will then start the Great Tribulation. For the BUFFER will be removed.

When the Holy Spirit [comforter] is taken from mankind. It will then go WITH the Saints in the air in the great catching away of the Saints. The time will be shortened for them.

One scriptural truth I've found that proves to me that there is a Rapture, and that we CAN NOT be Left Behind to suffer or go through the Great Tribulation is this. Christ's Word tells us before the great tribulation He will remove the Comforter from the earth (which is His Holy Spirit), for the comforter holds back the tribulation until it is removed to allow Christ's full wrath. The wrath we experience now is NOTHING compared to what will be after the Comforter is removed from earth, and His final Wrath is unleashed upon the earth. If that same spirit (His Holy Spirit) dwells within His saints (children, believers), then how could He remove the Holy Spirit without removing those the Spirit dwells in? It will be the earth that the Comforter is removed from, it does not say the Comforter will be removed out of the Church (Body of Christ). If Christ removed the Comforter without removing the believers as well, then it could be said that He does not give us the gift of the Holy Spirit freely ... but that it is loaned to us for only a season. A gift is not a loan or something we borrow, common sense tells us that much by how the Bible tells us how to give gifts. Also, the Bible does not say we must return the Holy Spirit to Him at ANY point during our lives, nor that we must do anything to receive it except believe (i.e. be believers in Him). Christ does not give us His gifts in order to remove them or take them away, unless we are not His children and living according to His Word (i.e. His perfect will for us). Furthermore, if we are not believers (His children) He would not give us His gift of the His Comforter (Holy Spirit) in the first place.

I actually don't know for certain.

I believe that the Holy Spirit won't be here but I have no scriptures to provide proof on that. I do know, however, that believers will be killed during the Tribulation because they won't take the mark of the beast upon themselves. I also know that when the plagues are poured out on the earth, those with God's mark upon them will not be touched yet those with the mark of the beast will die and suffer.

I know that the Bible says in Revelation that it will be harder to live for God in those days and that is why I believe the Holy Spirit leaves during the Rapture when God calls His children home. The Tribulation is seven years and then God returns to bind Satan and cast him the the pit and then there is a thousand years of peace and then the White Throne Judgment, followed by a new heaven and a new earth.

Bible says, "I will never leave you nor forsake you all the way to the ends of the earth". The earth is round, therefore, no end. I do believe that as christians we will not be free of all effects of the tribulation, however, I dont want a rock crying out the name of Jesus in my place as the bible says they will do either. I believe that even during the tribulation that the Holy Spirit will be ever present, an all one will need to do is cry out the name of Jesus to be freed.

It will be difficult to become born again during the tribulation as the world will be in total chaos and ungodly people will be everywhere. Christians will be martyred for their faith then. But, at least God will be allowing a 2nd chance for those that missed being raptured. I believe the 144,000 will be the ones witnessing for Christ during the trib. so yes the Holy Spirit will be at work.

Since the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Jesus (Philippians 1:19), let us read following verse:
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall TRIBULATION, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. (Romans 8:35-37)
It means, that the Holy Spirit will remain with God's people, while at the same time persecutors will not have Holly Spirit since you can not persecute Christians and have Holly Spirit in you.

(Matthew 24:21-22) 21 for then there will be great tribulation such as has not occurred since the world’s beginning until now, no, nor will occur again. 22 In fact, unless those days were cut short, no flesh would be saved; but on account of the chosen ones those days will be cut short.
If God's holy spirit wasn't working and the devil was able to kill all the chosen ones don't you think he would do it?

Yes, Jesus, God, and the Holy Spirit are one because of the Trinity. Revelation 7:15
And he said, "These are they who have come out of the great tribulation; they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. Therefore, "they are before the throne of God and serve him day and night in his temple; and he who sits on the throne will spread his tent over them.

The Holy Spirit will also work in the hearts of men. Before the Great tribulation.
