I don't want to be a classical/opera singer. However that is all that colleges seem to offer. Are there any good schools that'll get me started in the pop business? I can't find anything on the internet.

P.S. If not, do you know just any good performing arts schools?

thank you soooo much!

Of course!

Many pop singers have a classical training, however, which is also important for general musical and vocal development, but a pop music study has then of course more emphasis on the pop music aspects.

Have fun!

Even if you don't want to be a classical singer, the training will help you develop your vocal skills and make you a better singer regardless of the style that you eventually want to concentrate on.

Good luck!
