If you go to hell and your children go to heaven-then you will be separated for ever.

Actually, the age of accountability isn't a core Christians belief. Your entire question may be misguided.
In any case, I'd rather my children be separated from me than suffer eternal torment with me. Then again, I'm a believer.

I do not know the age of accountability. I believe only God judges this, as He only knows our hearts, our influences, etc. There are people in this world who are adults, and do not know Jesus. Because they have not heard of Him. Our God will judge, and He is sooo merciful, and fair, I can't believe anyone would go to Hell, unless they HAVE been taught the Gospel, have access to it, etc., and continue to blatantly refuse it, and mock it.
If a child dies before the age of accountability, he/she will certainly be reunited with the parents in heaven, provided the parents believe in Jesus Christ, as the son of God, and our Savior.
It is better to die and have no real understanding of The Gospel, than to die and have had been taught about it, etc. (only to than ignore it). God knows each of us. He will judge fairly and mercifully.
May God Bless you always!

I don't know every Christian group, but I don't think that's 100% accurate.
God is the righteous Judge. He'll decide
My guess is that the age of accountability is not a set age like 7 or 12, but really a point where the child is able to make moral decisions and can understand very basic spiritual concepts such as "the devil is evil", "God is Love", "You need to be born again (to a certain point)" , and "Mommy and Daddy's salvation doesn't make you saved. Only you can make that decision".

My son died in a car wreck at age nine. At that age, he still considered me a best friend and wanted to include me in all his fun times. I find the "separation" concept, taught by "popular Christianity" to be appalling. No, Ray would not have enjoyed going to heaven without me.
That's why I prefer the Biblical presentation about death: that children who die, "sleep" (like Jairus' daughter, and Lazarus, and the widow's son, all of whom Jesus raised from the dead in his earthly ministry). Then, when Jesus comes with all His angels, He will wake the righteous dead and Together we'll meet with Him in the air to begin our eternal life with no more pain or sorrow. Together!
I miss my son. It comforts me to know that the Bible says, so does Jesus! And when Ray wakes up, he will feel like his death was only for a moment. We'll discover heaven's joys together!

I'm not sure I understand your question....are you asking whether or not young children who die go to heaven even if their parents are not believers?
I'd have to say, I believe that they do.
Of course, there would be little point in explaining this to children too young to understand...
I hope this helps.

Luke 12:48-But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more.
Romans 9:11-For the children being not yet born, neither having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of him that calleth;)

Yes. All the parents would have to do to be re-united with their children in Heaven is believe on Jesus as Lord and Savior.
But since the non-believers don't believe in what believers say, why would telling them that upset them?

Anyone who says that children do not go to heaven is a lunatic. Jesus says... Suffer the little children to come unto me. -Matthew 19:14.
Now, whether we are judged to join them is another matter.

I don't fully understand your question but I hope the Christians aren't saying anything to the non believers. Everyone has a right to their own opinion & nobody should be insulted for it. I'm a Christian & wouldn't insult non believers because I don't want to be insulted. We just have different opinions

If they go to heaven, why would they be separated from their parents forever??? That would only be true if the parents don't go to heaven and they have the opportunity to chose heaven by chosing to accept JESUS CHRIST as their SAVIOR!
