According to the Holy Bible, Ishmael was the ILLEGITIMATE child of Hagar (Abraham's maidservant / slave). Isaac was the LEGITIMATE child of Abraham born to his wife Sarah. God did bless Ishmael. He made him the father of 12 rulers and made him a great nation. Isaac was blessed by God also because through Isaac's blessing of Jacob his son, was to be the direct bloodline to Jesus Christ, whom Mary the Virgin Mother of Jesus is from. We, the Gentiles were reconciled back to the Father through the sacrificial blood of Jesus Christ who never sinned because the Full Spirit of God had dwelled within Him. When He took on the sins of the world and died for us, whoever shall believe on His name had the right to become children of God, joint Heirs of Jesus Christ to the Kingdom of God. THE ONLY WAY THAT MANKIND CAN ENTER THE KINGDOM OF GOD IS TO ACCEPT JESUS CHRIST AS THEIR LORD AND SAVIOR AND SINCERELY MEAN IT. That means having enduring FAITH AND LIVING IT to the end (the return of Jesus Christ). Now I say to you, as a Gentile and a TRUE Christian, I know I'm clean and on my way to ETERNITY! ARE YOU!

i'm no longer a Muslim, so i'm no longer commonplace with the finished library of Islamic texts and traditions, yet do not lose sight of the basics: Islam is an Abrahamic faith, alongside with Christianity and Judaism. Judaism, Christianity, and Islam (in that order) are literally stacked upon one yet another in a cultural, historic chronology. Their respective texts exist in diverse variations, notwithstanding the three structures matter upon the known Hebrew memories which type what Christians might want to call the former Testement.

Not true. Jews, Christians, and Zoroastrians are considered "People of the Book" and regarded as believers, and they are not considered spiritually unclean.

Also, only Allah can judge who will go to hell and who will not. Even if a person professes to be an unbeliever because he does not have an opportunity to learn about Islam, but sincerely submits himself to God as well as he knows how, he will be judged favorably.

FYI, "infidel" just means unbeliever. Christians say all unbelievers go to hell. Why is this an issue?

Islam teaches those who make partners with God are commiting the only unforgivable sin, called shirk. Muslims love and respect Jesus, peace be upon him, as a prophet of God, just not God or the son of God himself, which would be shirk. Jesus himself taught God alone has the right to be worshipped. I hope that helps.
Peace be Upon You.

Untrue.....

Quran

[2:62] Surely, those who believe, those who are Jewish, the Christians, and the converts; ANYONE who (1) believes in GOD, and (2) believes in the Last Day, and (3) leads a righteous life, will receive their recompense from their Lord. They have nothing to fear, nor will they grieve.

[5:69] Surely, those who believe, those who are Jewish, the converts, and the Christians; any of them who (1) believe in GOD and (2) believe in the Last Day, and (3) lead a righteous life, have nothing to fear, nor will they grieve.

[2:40] O Children of Israel, remember My favor, which I bestowed upon you, and fulfill your part of the covenant, that I fulfill My part of the covenant, and reverence Me.

[7:156] "And decree for us righteousness in this world, and in the Hereafter. We have repented to You." He said, "My retribution befalls whomever I will. But My mercy encompasses all things. However, I will specify it for those who (1) lead a righteous life, (2) give the obligatory charity (Zakat),* (3) believe in our revelations.

Righteous Jews & Christians

[3:113] They are not all the same; among the followers of the scripture, there are those who are righteous. They recite GOD's revelations through the night, and they fall prostrate.

[3:114] They believe in GOD and the Last Day, they advocate righteousness and forbid evil, and they hasten to do righteous works. These are the righteous.

[3:115] Any good they do will not go unrewarded. GOD is fully aware of the righteous.

It's amazing how many times this lie and misconception can be circulated among the lied to people. I ask that you learn the truth about Islam from a reputable Muslim source not from hateful non Muslims who only wish to spit upon my faith.
From amongst humanity, Jews and Christians are the nearest to Muslims and are given the honorary title of the People of the Book. They are the fellow believers in the One God and the recipients of scriptures from Him, the Torah to Moses and the Gospel to Jesus. They share the belief in the line of prophethood, and so many of our Jewish and Christian friends are taken by surprise when they hear that the Biblical prophets are also Islamic prophets. The three religions share a common moral code. The Quran says "Say we believe in God, and the revelation given to us, and the revelation given to Abraham, Ismail, Isaac, Jacob and the Tribes, and that given to Moses and Jesus, and that given to (all) the prophets from their Lord: We make no distinction between one and another of them, and to Him we are submitters." (2:136) The word Islam literally means submission to the will of God.

Muslims are permitted by Islam to eat the food offered them by the People of the Book (unless specifically prohibited like drinking alcohol or eating pig meat) and reciprocate by offering their food to them "The food of the People of the Book is lawful unto you and your food is lawful unto them." (5:5). A Muslim man is permitted to take as a wife in marriage (the most intimate relation and sacred bond) a Jewish or Christian woman "Lawful unto you in marriage are (not only) chaste women who are believers, but chaste women among the People of the Book revealed before your time when you give them their due dowers (in Islam a man has to give a gift upon marriage, usually gold or money) and desire chastity and not lewdness taking them as lovers." (5:5) In such a situation it is unlawful for the Muslim husband to try and exert pressure on his wife to convert to Islam, because that would be in conflict with the Quranic injunction "Let there be no compulsion in religion." (2:256) It would indeed be his Islamic duty to ensure her right of worship according to her own faith.

In an Islamic state the legal dictum about the People of the Book is "They have our rights and owe our duties." They are equally eligible to social security and other benefits the state provides. Muslims were warned against acts of bigotry or prejudice towards the People of the Book, and prophet Mohammad himself said, "Whoever hurts a person from the People of the Book it will be as though he hurt me personally."

I am sick of ignorant people including the media lying about my religion and unfortunately the huge majority of people are too lazy and arrogant to pick up a Quran and learn for themselves. I think they enjoy having free reign to hate and be prejudiced, out in the open.
