Well its this one guy that likes me, we talk whenever I see him I don't see him that often, but I do have his cell phone number in his house number, but I'am afraid to call him. My birthday is coming up in I would like for him to take me out, but I'am afraid to call him. I haven't been with a guy in a while I'll say like in five years since me and my kids father broke up its kind of hard being with a guy, because my kids father did nothing but cheat on me, so its kind of hard for me to approach a man right away. Because I don't want to go through the same situation with anybody else that I went through with him.

There is no guarantee in life and nowhere does it say, it's easy.
I would have maybe, have a good friend couple lined up, ( in case you need to), I'd say, you're B/D is coming up and would like to invite a few friends to Dinner (something along that line) and would love for him to come along as you're date..
If he's interrested a lot, you could, at a later time, (just short before going out) let him know, you're friends are not able to come but you'd hope he still would anyway!
Make sure you're not taking along you're baggage, be open and available, believe me, men can sense insecurity and get scared themselfs of having to take you by the hand to get over baggage. They will runn!!
Go to you're B/D Dinner or party with an open mind and have funn! That's a new start and dont expect to much to soon. Sounds to me, you still have some healing to do first.

Yes, ask him. tell him the same thing you just told us. If you two like each other, then there's no reason for you not to give it a shot. All guys are not the same, just because your ex was an ****** doesn't mean everybody else will be (unless you look for that in a man, subconciously)

Its he showing any interested on you ? if yes ,just call him or wait until you see him,tell him that its your bday coming up and that you dont know what to do ,if make a party or whatever..And you would like to go some nice place ,but your friends are busy ,just dropp the idea,maybe he will figure out something to surprise you.

You need a self esteem boost. Instead of going out with some guy go to the spa and get yourself the works for your birthday. It would sound kind of pathetic to call and ask this guy to take you out for your birthday. If you want to ask him out, pick another day and then just call and ask him out.

Just try asking him out. It's time that you move on in life and try something new. Take a risk. Think about the consequences. Are they really that bad? Not really. So go for it!

no matter what people say every one is different (people have alot of things in common but there all different) if you like this guy that much and you think you can trust him give it a shot and if it doesn't work out theres always tomorrow
