i think i still have feelings for my ex but im not sure if i should try and persue this or just leave it and let it pass

it depends on how you broke up
i once had a girl who dumped me call me a year later, left a message on my answering machine
i had forgotten about her, but i still liked her
but she dumped me in a somewhat nasty way, more unkind than she needed to be to get the job done - i would have taken a far lessor hint
had she hinted at an apology, i would have called her back
but she didnt
i never called her, and i've never heard from her again
i wouldnt have minded if things had turned out differently, but i've never really regretted that i drew the line on how i'd be treated

It depends on how long ago this person became your Ex. If it has been recently, i certainly wouldn't pursue anything. Everyone has those emotions, and of course it takes some time to digress.
Even if it has been a while, I am a firm believer that if it didn't work the first time, why go through the pain and hurt of doing it all over again. After all, this person is your "ex" for a reason. I'm not sure of the circumstances surrounding the break up, but I think that you should consider allll of the feelings that you are having, and take some time to also consider the consequences of either decision (the good and the bad) before you jump full force into anything.

This person bears the title of "ex" for a reason. What your feeling is separation anxiety. Get used to single life again, or go find somebody else.
