ask her out -- "Would you like to go for a movie and dinner sometime?" -- or something else you know she likes to do -- the more its something like a date the more likely you'll know by her answer --- leave it open enough that she can't say she has other plans and leave you still not sure (WHY do women do that to us poor guys???) -- the worst that can happen is she'll say no -- but she might say yes and then you know she likes you!

(Oh -- just noticed we don't know your gender -- but the same goes for women really --- just ask the person out -- i wish i had done that more often!!)

The chance of being rejected is what makes acceptance so important.

Be their friend. Aim only to be friends with the person you like. The person you like would be your friend. Love sprouts the most securely from friendships. Amazingly, friends generally last longer than dates.

So, try talking to them once a day, every few days, just talk. Get to know them. Please, don't ask them out right away, since they'd barely know who you are as a person. Be their friend. If you're only their friend, what reason is there for the person you like to reject you? Later on, you can ask whomever it is out, and you won't be so tense and worried.

G'luck

You need to talk to this person face to face. Tell this person how you feel. Maybe this person feels the same way. Ask this person out. The worst this person could say is no.

You could start by talking to them about anything. Then make a hypothetical to them about if someone liked them and what they should do. Example: "Hypothetically, if someone liked you say alot how should they tell you?" or something like that. Then the next time you speak to them, tell them it was you.

Mabie you could strike up a casual conversation with this person and durring that conversation ask them if they are seeing any one right now and see what kind of response you get.

you best bet is to just tell the person how you feel and ask them if they feel the same way or get someone to do it for you.

Lorriane is right you do need to have someone to introduce you to her because it is all about networking. I would ask someone if they know her and that you can find out what she think of you.
