I think my son may have consumed some LSD and i know what the side effects are. Is there any way to flush out his system so there are no long term effects on his brain ?

Believe me, the long term effects of a one-time consumption are not even measurable... I have been waiting for a "flash-back" for 30 years, and have NEVER even had a hint of it... The side-effects you have read about are bogus... I am telling you from personal experiance, not something I have read about... Relax, the stories are mostly fabrication, he will be just fine......

Taking it once probably doesn't have much of a long term effect, but most likely (he'll probably tell you otherwise) it is not just a one time thing.
A hit of LSD isn't all consumed by the body. Some of it is absorbed into fat cells by the body so later in life when that fat cell is used for energy, it results is a 'flash-back' type reaction.

well inventor of LSD turned 101 years this month (yes!) and he tried it on himself who knows how many times,and he is still sane and kicking... just don't overdo it

LSD can stay in the body for up to 7 years, in a residual state. After the immediate effects wear off, there really is no need to worry. Nothing can be done or needs to be done to flush out the body. He is in need of immediate council. Repeated use of LSD can lead to permanent insanity.
