24 month clothes are designed to fit over a diaper, and 2t clothes are cut a little different to fit better with underwear.

In some clothes brands there is no difference between 24 months and 2T, but in others there are. I always think of the 24 months size as being 18-24 months, while 2T is for 2 year olds, although as I said in some brands there is no difference. There definitely is a difference in Carter's clothes and most of the higher end clothing brands though.

The 24 month clothes are a little smaller then the 2T. I have a two year old girl and the 2T's are to big for her.

2T are bigger. My son is 20 months and has to wear 2T because 24 months are a little too short.

Generally, when a store uses 12, 18, 24 month sizes... It means 9-12, 12-18, 18-24. If you go to www.thechildrensplace.com, choose an item then click size chart. You will see what I mean. It has age, height, weight compared to size.

depends on the brand and cut of the clothing. 24 mo stuff frequently still has snaps at the crotch or down the pant leg for diaper changing, 2T is a little more "mature"

Most of the time there is no difference but sometimes 24 months is shorter. It just depends on the brand.

2T is supposed to be a little longer and 24 months is supposed to be wider in the bottom area for diapers, this is what I have heard.

No tmuch difference. Some stores, like children's place, do not have a size 2T, they go from 24mos to 3T.
