If memory serves me, a vamp is the term given to a woman who kindof flaunts herself, struts her stuff and flirts a lot. The Man-eater used to be a woman who played games with men, toying with their affections and then discarding them.

For the meaning of Vamp.. see the old silent film star "Theda Bara" she was the FIRST official.. Generaly means highly sexy and in complete control of all things.. males being the easiest..
