does anyone know where i can find a bullboxer in sw fl? a staffordshire terrier mixed with boxer. i have seen a boxer moxed with others like bull dogs, but i am looking for one mixed with a staffy or american pit. anywhere in florida is fine, but the closest to sw florida the better.

i am looking to see if anyone knows someone who breeds them in the area. i will also be checking rescues and shelters as well.

a bullboxer because it seems to be a great mix. both dogs are great family dogs and good with kids. dislikes about a pit is the chance it might not get along with my other dog and dislike about boxers is they act way too hyper for too long. and from what i have read the bullboxers are better with other animals than a pit and since pits mature faster they take out the hyperness of the full boxer. plus these are both very loyal and protective dogs. just seems to me like a good mix.

The Orlando area SPCAs have a pretty good selection of pit bull and boxer mixes. Maybe you'll find what you're looking for? They're on the internet and have pictures and descriptions. Also, try Florida Pit Bull or Boxer rescue organizations.
I have a pit bull from the SPCA. Anyone willing to adopt one of these dogs is valuable, as so many people are too leery of them from all the bad press.
I've heard that S. FL is passing laws on "aggressive" breeds; you might want to find out if you're eligible to own one of these in your area.
Also, the SPCA and Human Society always screen potential adopters. Make sure you can offer these rescued guys a good home, or you'll be denied.

I live in SW Fla and there are hundreds of pit mixes in the shelters down here. Don't go to a breeder, there are already millions of pets euthanized every year.
Keep checking and you will find the mixed breed you want. Petfinder.com is a good resource.
Also, why a bullboxer?

Check out Petfinder.com, that's where I found mine. Just type in "pit bull" or "boxer", not Bull Boxer because nothing will come up. After that you can see if the dog is mixed and if so, with which breeds. On a side note, my bull boxer is awesome! Very intelligent and fun, he's the best dog you could ask for.

Try looking in your local animal shelters. There are a ton of them. If you go to petfinder.com you can search for certain breeds who are in need of homes in your area. And even if you don't find this EXACT mix, you might just find a dog that you find absolutely beautiful and wonderful that you HAVE to have. I can't have a dog at the moment, but i spend a lot of my time torturing myself by looking for dogs in animal shelters. I really want a pit bull, i just love them. But i find so many other mixed breed dogs that i fall in love with, and could take home in an instant.

you can find tons of boxer mixes and staffie mixes on petfinder. just put in your zip and the breed and scroll through them until you find the dog for you. if you are a first time owner of this type of dog, i strongly say to research this breed. they are not for the first time dog owner. they require an owner that knows what they are doing. but good luck, you will find many of these mixes on petfinder.

have you look in ads in the pet shops and re homing centers you never know .sorry cant help you more in the UK .
