Philippians 4:6

"Keep asking, and it will be given to you. Keep searching, and you will find. Keep knocking, and the door will be opened for you. For everyone who keeps asking will receive, and the person who keeps searching will find, and the person who keeps knocking will have the door opened. "There isn't a person among you who would give his son a stone if he asked for bread, is there? Or if he asks for a fish, he wouldn't give him a snake, would he? So if you who are evil know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good things to those who keep on asking him!" (Matthew 7:7-11)

And

"Jesus told his disciples a parable about their need to pray all the time and never give up. He said, "In a city there was a judge who didn't fear God or respect people. In that city there was also a widow who kept coming to him and saying, 'Grant me justice against my adversary.' For a while the judge refused. But later he said to himself, 'I don't fear God or respect people. Yet because this widow keeps bothering me, I will grant her justice. Otherwise, she will keep coming and wear me out.'" Then the Lord added, "Listen to what the unrighteous judge says. Won't God grant his chosen people justice when they cry out to him day and night? Is he slow to help them? I tell you, he will give them justice quickly. But when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on earth?" (Luke 18:1-8)

I'm not super sure, but i know what he said about things you need. He said that God cared about a sparrow, who could be bought for 2 pennies, and that you are infinitely more important. Sparrows dont worry about what they wear or what they'll eat the next day, and its provided for them, and God cares for us more than them, so dont worry. What you need you will get.

We need for God to get the religions to agree on God. You can pray until you are blue in the face and sectarian violence will continue.

We are suppose to be a little selfish in our prayers...I think it is called the prayer of Jehieba were it goes

O lord that you would bless me indeed and enlarge my terratory, that your hands would be with me and that you would keep me from evil.

He says if we have faith in God we would realise that he already knows what is in our best interest, so he really doesn't need us to try to wise him up.

Matthew 7:7 says ask and it shall be given you, seek and you shall find, knock and it shall be opened. For everyone that asketh receiveth, and he that seeketh findeth, and to him that knocketh, it shall be opened".
