I think internet pool helps with using english and positioning the ball on a real table.

Me personally, I think the whole physics of Yahoo Pool are screwed up, meaning the english you shoot on the PC is NOT how the ball reacts on the table, for the most part. And then as for the shooting, if it was that easy to line up your shot and then you had a white line telling you your aimed for the pocket, then yeah it would make you better. Unfortunately It's all in your eyes and your hands so the PC version offers nothing to improve your game in life. Except for maybe small things you should already know like, if you hit the ball on the right side, the cue ball will push it left. Understand Geometry, If you understand how angles work then that alone will imrove your skill drastically.

i doubt it very much, but learn how to spin the ball and where to spin the ball on yahoo and watch how the ball reacts, then try that on a real table and it will give you the idea of the spin, so yes i suppose i might help a little bit, but doing it with a mouse, then proper pool cue two diffrent things all to geather

no sorry. in fact it will make u beleive you are good when in fact most of the shots you play in yahoo pool are extremely difficult to get right in real life.
