My stepson went threw all the training to be in the reserves for the marines, it was tough, but he did it. Now we find out he has not done his weekend duty to the marines in 3 months and his Sgt. is looking for him. What will happen to him. and what happens if he was to get a dishonorable discharge?

There are several things that could happen.He could be put on active duty,and assigned a base to report to. He could also be arrested and be put in a military brig,(not a good thing).Or ,He could report to his commander and try to work out a plan to continue his training.If they are looking for Him,They WILL find Him.

We had a female that didn't show up because she didn't want to get deployed with us to Kuwait. The Sheriff found her and threw her butt in jail until we got back 13 months later. Then she was dishonorably discharged and now she was a felony conviction on her record. It really sucked for her husband because he was a Federal Marshall and her actions screwed his career.

he will probably be given a dishonrable discharge. this is only if he does not have orders to deploy to an active combat zone. If so then he will probably tried for going AWOL and or desertion. yes they can put him in jail

he will be court marshaled and have to face a judge and probably serve time in jail for going ua (unauthorized absence) he will face worse than a dishonorable discharge. he has screwed himself
