I'm ordering the flowers for my wedding shortly & was wondering who should get flowers. I'm wanting to get a general idea of how much the flowers are going to cost total.

Obviously, I have mine & the groom gets a boutineer. We aren't having bridesmaids or groomsmen, so that's not an issue. My dad is in the wedding so he is getting a boutineer. Does the grooms father normally get one as well? How about the mother's, do they normally get a corsage? I also wasn't sure about the grandmothers either.

Thanks in advance.

BTW, I'm not asking for the amount you think it will cost, I already know what my florist charges. I just want to know how many of each I'll be ordering.

For my wedding my husbands father did get a boutineer as well as the grandfather. The mothers and grandmothers should alos get corsages
If you want to save alot of money don't go through a florist if you have somefriends and family to help you the day before the wedding do them yourself the boutineers and corsages are really easy to make as well as flower arrangments. Just look it up on the internet there are many sites to tell you how to do it. I bought all my flowers at my local grocery store and they were beautiful. Goold luck and if you have any quesitons feel free to email me ohh and I spent about $500 and I had alot of flowers plus enough to make 20 table arrangments.

If your groom's father is not in the wedding it is not necessary for him to wear a boutineer nor is it necessary for you to get a corsage for the Grandmothers but since you are having such a small wedding party it would be a nice thing if you can afford it. The mother of the bride and mother of the groom should get a coursage.

All parents and grandparents get flowers. Also, if you are having anyone do readings during the cermony, the person doing your toast at the reception, anyone else that is doing anything during the wedding. If you want flowers at the cermony you need to purschase them. And at the reception unless the reception place includes them.

Bride, groom, each attendant, parents of both bride and groom, grandparents of both bride and groom, anyone else participating (reading, singing, etc), and anyone else who might feel 'hurt' if they didn't get one.
