I'm not sure how to put this gently, but a 'schnoodle' is a crossbreed, i.e. a *mutt*. They do not breed true like purebreds and the exact characteristics of the puppy are not consistent. Some develop the facial whiskers and some don't. Assuming the dog does grow hair in the right place, you still need grooming to make it look right.

You have to groom them that way. My Chelsea was a schnoodle and sometimes we had her groomed like a poodle and sometimes like a schnauzer. We just got her face groomed like a schauzer. We didn't like the skirt thing too much.

Its all in the grooming. All dogs with continuous growing hair need grooming to make them look the way you want. Bothe poodles and schnauzers.

most poodle mix dogs grow hair on thier face, so growing is beard is a simple matter of clipping the hair of the head and leaving the hair on the face. The only concern is that you may have a dog with a curlier coat than a schnauzer so it may not hang like a schnauzer, it will be puffier.
