The dog in that movie was named "Matisse"
(pronounced M' Teece, long 'ee' like "lease")...
...That's a cute name for a dog. The higher frequencies
in the sound of that name, especially when uttered by a
girl or a woman, sounds pleasing to a dog.
Matisse means something relative to chocolate, brown
colored.
