Since December, I've-well, it all started with pain on my back, the leftside. I've had the urgancy to use the restroom (urine) a lot, and then the pain migrated to my lower abdominal left side. Went to a doctor and he said it was my kidneys at first, went again he said it was my lower intestant. I recently switched doctors when the pain migrated to my back again, this time my right side. THEN, after having gotten my period, the pain went to my lower right abdominal area and my pelvic area. They did an abdominal ultrasound to see if I had olvarian cysts or whatever, but it came out normal. He sent me to the ER, thinking it was my appendix. They did a CT scan and that came out normal, too. So they sent me home with more pills. I've had a burning, tingling pain ever since I got the pain in my pelvic area. Anyone else have these symptoms? Or know what it could be since I've already gone to the hospital and the pain in my back has returned with the constant frequency to urinate.

They've done blood tests, and urine tests and they all came out normal...please, if someone can help?

Oh, yea, and besides that I've had this pain that comes down from my pelvic area to my right thigh. Well, this pain all started, I forgot to add, when I've slept too much, and waited too long to use the restroom...it makes it worse when I wait to use the rest room, even if sometimes, I get the urgancy to go, but hardly anything ever comes out. I'm really worried, and have been under some stress...

Also about the pain in my pelvic area, it really hurts when I'm sitting and lean forward. Your answers so far have gotten me thinking...thanks so far, but I'll probably have to wait to go to any doctor because I currently have no medical insurence. I'm 19 years old...

I had almost identical symptoms.... after 5 years, I finally found a doc who was willing to take a look via laparoscopy.... he found pelvic congestion syndrome, which is basically varicose veins in theuterus. I am now in pain mnagement and have regained my life. Talk to your doc about the surgery. It's the only way to diagnose PCS. My ultrasounds, IVP, CT Scan were all normal, but the pain was debilitating. I couldn't do anything, even get out of bed, and sexual intercourse was excruciating. If you need more info or just want to talk to someone who understands, feel free to e-mail me. :)

I have had the same symptoms for about 1 year now, have you been referred to a urologist? there is a medical condition called Interstitial cystitis (IC) is a condition that results in recurring discomfort or pain in the bladder and the surrounding pelvic region. The symptoms vary from case to case. People may experience mild discomfort, pressure, tenderness, or intense pain in the bladder and pelvic area. Symptoms may include an urgent need to urinate (urgency), a frequent need to urinate (frequency), or a combination of these symptoms. Pain may change in intensity as the bladder fills with urine or as it empties. Women's symptoms often get worse during menstruation. They may sometimes experience pain with intercourse. you may want to ask your doctor if it is possible you have this so they can do some further testing to evaluate this pain you have been experiencing I hope this helps some and hope you feel better soon.

You may need to have an M.R.I. It sounds like it could be a herniated disc. The only sure fire way to find out is to get an M.R.I done. My got one in a wreck. Your symptoms sound similar to his.
