Orchard Bank. I got one through them 2 months after my Bankruptcy. I didn't have to pay anything to start the card, the repayment methods aren't that great and take a long time. But I've had good interaction with the customer service and they seem pretty fair. Your credit limit will be low, but they raised mine after 6 months if you prove you can handle it.

Be very careful with banks like Centennial or Orchard. They will give you a $300 credit line, but you will have around $250 in fees before you even use the card. Do not fall into that trap. You can normally get a credit card around two years after your bankruptcy has been discharged. You might try household bank... they seem to be relatively reasonable. However, no bank is going to give you a low interest rate.
Once you get a card, make every payment on time and pay off any balance quickly. Not immediately, but sooner than 12 or 24 months that you will have. Always pay more than the minimum payment. Within 3 months, your credit score will start to improve. However, understand that there is a reason you filed bankruptcy. Don't let yourself get into that position again. Credit is absolutely essential if you want to buy a car or house. Oh, and federal law says that bankruptcy must be removed from your credit report after 10 years. Be careful and be safe.
good luck.

Just be patient. You need to take some time to build up you credit. Look into secured credit cards. It will give you a little bit of credit at first but will build overtime so it helps you pace yourself and works towards improving your credit.

a few months after my bankruptcy was discharged I started to get alot of credit card companies sending me credit applications saying I was pre approved. that is how I started to rebuild my credit. you should be getting alot of that in your mail also. Every credit card company out there knows you are debt free and they are just dying to get you back into debt.

how long have you been out of banktrupcy? You can get a credit card through orchard bank, but the intrest is high and they charge a yearly fee. just make sure you pay on time, they didnt change my address per my instructions, so my statement took longer to get to me, and therefore my payment was late. they jacked my rate up to 36% for 4 months even though it was their fault. In time you will get a ton of offers ( I am out of mine for three years and I get offers daily) Just be careful not to get yourself pulled under again

Why on earth do you want to get yourself into debt again? Get a debit card, such as Electron or Delta, so that you can only spend what you have.
The only companies that will offer you credit will extract huge sums in interest

Capital One - they may want you to open an account and use the account as collateral if your credit is really bad - but it's a start to rebuilding. Capital One is the best to start over though
