I think your question is quite beautiful. You have a desire to know and love God more. If you are young, I just want to encourage you that a relationship with God is built over time. Just tell Him that you want to know Him better. Read and study your Bible with the understanding of the Holy Spirit, ask Him to help. And watch for God in your life. God Bless, child of God. He loves you.

Hon, you need Jesus in your heart!! Read the Bible to get the big picture..I would start with the New Testament--please stick with King James Version. No, your question is NOT stupid or confusing. I wish more ppl were concerned about this. If you believe that Jesus came to save us, and that he died on the cross at Calvary, and He's coming back again, ask Him into your heart to save you from your sins and you will go to heaven!! Start attending a good Bible-believing church in your area. Good Luck!!

The way I acheived that was to embrace Islam.I became a Muslim, from Catholicism. You may be like, ummm that is not the answer I was looking for but I will just briefly share my POV w/ you. I have always loved and admired Jesus but never believed he was God. I always have believed in God and wanted to be closer to him. I found that in Islam. In Islam we believe in the oneness and uniqeness of God and we do not worship anyone or anything but God. We love Jesus and Noah and Abraham and all of the other prophets, they are our examples and they led people to the worship of God and God alone. That is what Islam is and praying in complete obedience and surrender to God is so freeing. We believe (in Islam) that Jesus did not die for everyones sins and all we have to do is believe Jesus is Lord and we will go to heaven. Muslims believe that you must worship God and God alone and you will be judged by God according to your actions and intentions, your deeds. Real accountability not false salvation. Like going out to a strip club and getting drunk and fornicating are ok as long as you have accepted Jesus Christ as your lord and savior. I thank God everyday that I have seen past Christianty and now I truly worship God. It's worth looking into!

It is a wonderful question. It truly is about having a personal relationship with Him..including Him in the things that you do, thanking Him for all the things you have every day..reading the Bible about Jesus' life...learning how He deals with things, how he haled etc..getting to know Him..and realizing that He is showing you the Father. Including yourself in what Jesus wants for everyone, that we tell everybody about Him. Finding out what you can do to make things better for others by perhaps working voluntarily in a soup kitchen or something..learning just how many blessings you have and realizing who gave them to you..praising Him and thanking Him for them..then passing on blessings in His name to others.
It is like how you make your human friends a huge part of your life..how you make them feel special..you include them in things that you do too. You tell them and show them how much you care..
It is the same with God..and you follow what He asks of you.
God Bless.

The single fact that you notice that is proof enough that you do want to go deeper and further your relationship with the king. God is waiting for you. Just go there with him, he knows the desires of your heart and he will give them to you. If you just completely abandon and chase after him... it is the most amazing experience
Nothing compares to the love that God has for us. He wants us to pursue him, just as we wish to be pursued. Give him the keys to your heart and make him your #1 priority.
I will be praying for you :)

The way I make God a huge part of my life everyday is by praying to Him for guidance. I ask Him to please help me to do the best that I can each day. Then I go to church every Sunday and give him thanks for all that He has done for me and for all of my family.

If your going to church now then go speak to your preacher and ask him that question ( you won't regret it). If you don't have a church that you normally go to then shop around and talk to diffrent preachers about your problems and ask them your question, they will guide you in the right direction and help you find a way. Please don't go off what a bunch of anti-religion yahoo people tell you, find out from people that are in the field and actually want to help you.

Look at that site......you need to talk to a preacher about this because all of the different opinions on here may confuse you. I you feel like He isn't an actual part of your heart then you may be searching for salvation=actually asking Him to come into your heart and to be in your life with everything...ask him to forgive you for your sins and to be the guide for your life. You may ask Him when you want him to come into your life, Believe that Jesus died for your sins, and Confess that He is your Savior (meaning that He has saved you from the price of sin). But like I said before, please see a pastor or preacher about this because it is easier to speak to someone about it rather than typing it in words.

Just talk to Him! You can't just talk and not wait for Him to answer though. I prayed that way for many years! Now I've learned to say something then wait for an answer, the more you learn His voice, the less time you will spend waiting for His answer! Its awesome when you hear His voice! and you will definetly be drawn closer to Him in the process!!
