Why didn't the all knowing and all powerful god stop Eve from eating the apple.
Its said that god walked in the garden w/ Adam and Eve, and even married them so where was he when she was eating the apple?

He was right next to her laughing his *** off. If God was all-powerful and all-knowing, he would have foreseen all of this, and made perfect humans, but he obviously wanted to have fun.

First of all it wasn't an apple. And second of all, do you remeber when Lucifer fell from Heaven with a third of the angels? He fell because He was just placed in that position, he had no character, he hadn't went through tests and trials. the same with Eve and Adam. Thats why Jesus came into the world as a baby, he went through life developing character so He wouldn't fall.

Why would He ? She was commanded not to do something and she disobeyed ! Genesis 2 : 15 - 17.... And the Lord God took the man , and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it . And the Lord God commanded the man saying " Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat ". But of the tree of knowledge of good and evil , thou shalt not eat of it : for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt suring die . Eve made a " free will choice " to disobey God , and she suffered the punishment .... Kinda reminds you of man today and his lack of respect for The Word Of God ??

Just like us, Eve had free will and chose to eat the fruit on her own. Of course God knew she was going to, but I'm sure He was hoping that she would obey Him and not eat of it. Even Satan didnt "make" her eat it, he only tempted her with it and she took the bait. I'm sure HE was watching when it happened and probably felt really sad, knowing that , that which He had created and loved so dearly decided to disobey Him just like we do all the time...

It wasn't an apple per say, and He warned her very specifically not to do it. It was a test specifically put there to see who would join Satan's rebellion. Unfortunately we were second in line right behind 1/3 of the angels.

He wanted them to obey Him. He let Adam and Eve have a choice and they chose to disobey God.

He did not stop her bc she had free will.. she made the choice to do it.. and NO WHERE in the Bible does it say she ate an apple.. where do people come up with that?.. The bible says she ate of the FRUIT of the Tree of Knowledge of good and evil.

Because God only cares about men, so He kind of ignored Eve.

Because she was allowed to eat all the apples she wanted. It was the fruit of from the tree of knowledge of good and evil she was never to touch. My question is what the *** was it doing there in the first place?

Peace!
Because God gave all of us free will. He does not want to force himself on us. It's impossible to have a relationship with him if it is not founded on love.
