Do tattoos look trashy on women?

To me, tattoos make a woman look cheap. Tattoos in general have criminal connotations to the general public- sorry, but I would not want a tattoo'd nurse taking care of my kids.

I do not think so. I am a tattoo artist and I have done some nice ones for girls. It is not like it matters ne way what ne one thinks. Tattoos are not for other peoples opinions. They are to tell a story, to remember your past, and to keep a dear friend that past in the present. There is a whole bunch of other things as well. But no I do not think they look trashy on women.

I don't think it takes a tattoo to make a woman look trashy. If a woman looks trashy its more likely the clothes , makeup and the way she acts that makes her trashy. A artful well placed tattoo can look sexy without crossing over into "trashy". Think about it. A woman with a tattoo is probably going to be more open minded and less judgmental than those without and probably have more of a sense of adventure about her and I find all of those qualities sexy.

I dont think trashy is the right word. I would say it makes a girl look a little on the wild side. Of course there is a difference between a small, discreet tatoo and having half your body covered. Personally, I wouldnt do it. But I live and let live, and try not to judge. I've known some great people with tatoos.

no! but trashy women do make tattoos look bad! what kind of question is that? so many people, men and women have tattoos today. how can you say that someone is trashy or looks trashy because of them? i should totally get a tattoo of oscar the grouch in his trash can just so i can atleast be proud when ignorant people say tattoos are trashy. atleast one of mine really would be.

No. Tattoos are an expression of who a person is. Granted, a ton of tattoos everywhere is trashy. But a simple, classy tattoo on a woman is perfectly ok.

No, they don't. My mom has two. One's a vine on her hand and ones a sword through a heart on her hand. They are a form of artistic expressionism and I would get one two. If they are of trashy looking women then yes that is trashy. But a rose, sword into heart, butterfly, or vine or even a skull would be okay. Don't judge if you don't want judgement passed down upon you. A woman is not trashy because she has art on herself! Oh and here's something to think about: "If you had a brother and he died in the military and you went to get his portrait tattooed on your back or even his rank signia then some witch or some retard guy came up to you and said 'you look trashy with that tattoo' how would you feel? It would hurt huh?!" Oh and for the people out there that say girls with tattoo's look like "hoes" I think you should be ashamed of yourselves. Some do but not all girls are jeez!!!!!!!!!

I think some tattoos that men have look trashy especially if they have a lot of them. I have some female friends with small tattoos and they look great. I only have one friend with a large vine like tattoo in the middle of her back. No one sees it for the most part and I am sure she paid alot.

Not necessarily. It just depends on the tattoo they have. If they are pinup girls and weird/disgusting things, then yes. But tattoos are a form of art expression and expressing yourself. I like tattoos. Remember that expressing yourself without the concern of others is important, and that beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

well i like mine and i am not trashy or a hoe.Mine all mean something to me, and i do not regret them. I can cover all mine up when needed(which i do at work) but otherwise im not worried if they show or not because they are forever a part of me and if you don't like them don't look. don't judge a book by its cover, because you just might miss a great book because you didnt like the picture on the cover.

If someone is covered then yes. If its a small one or a normal sized one here or there then no. I dont understand why all these people who are against tattoos are on this board.
