we were in the same situation wut we did was lift the flapwhile on the other side of him show him a treat and encorage him 2 jump through.

Go out the door and leave her inside. Have a treat handy and call her until she comes through the door.
Then repeat the exercise in reverse: leave her outside and call her with a treat. Soon, she'll learn that going through the door is fun and rewarding!

Put the dog through the doggy door several times both ways. When it is ready, it will use it.

Try putting a treat on the other end while she is outside and you're inside. Flip the door up and make sure she can see it. Make sure sh goes ALL the wayh through the door. Then, try it with the door shut and tap on it. Good Luck!

have someone hold her on one side,, and you go to the other side and call her name,, lift the flap if you have to and offer a treat,,, it should only take a couple of times - if you want her to use doggie door to go potty,,, you need to teach her to go outside first,,, after she is housebroken she will use the doggie door

maybe use a treat to get the dog to go thru the door OPEN until it is comfortable with it, and then use a treat on a string to get it to use it with the door closed....might help. I dunno, I have never used doggie doors.

try thowing a treat out of it and getting them to get it . do that 44 a bit and then take them for a nice lond walk

get on the other side with a scooby snack - and temp the little guy
even if you have to stick it thru to get his attention
