Just wondering if tv's send out any radiation when they are not in use. Does anyone know about that?

No, the parts that need to be aren't active without electricity to create the EM Radiation. However if you are asking because you are into Feng Shui, then I'd suggest you don't keep a TV in the bedroom or if you do that it be closed in a cupboard so that screen is not visible while you sleep. The magnets that are part of the traditional CRT tube still affect lines of Chi. Hope this helps
