There's a few answers to this question:
1) Most Men are not that smart when it comes to relationships
2) They get jelous
3) They go off to "greener grass" and find out it's not so "green"
Regardless, never take an ex back, it didn't work out for a reason so chances are it won't work out again!

Mostly because men can't handle the fact that now their not with you cause you don't want them. It's a Territorial type of thing. Kinda like a dog marks his territory than another dog pees there that 1st dog has to over power it with his stench.
Chances are he really does love you and he didn't realize it until he saw you with some one else and found out he was jealous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He doesn't want you to move on. He doesn't want to be with you but he doesn't want to see you happy with anyone else either. Stay with the one your with. Your Ex only wants what he can't have. If you were to break up with your new man your Ex wouldn't want you anymore because your available.

Because men are brain damaged.
They don't realize a good thing until they lose it. It is too late. You must move on. Unless you both can fix what made it go wrong in the first place.
