Elmers makes a clay like putty you can use, leaves no marks. My daughter has it in her room, and so far so good, and its been up on her walls since Summer. Plus it also only costs like 95 cents at Target. Alot cheaper than the 3M stuff. Also, no holes in the walls from tacks, pins, etc.. Also, not unsightly tears you can get from tape. You get it in the same aisle you would get school glue, glue sticks, etc...

There's a white, non-drying, sticky mounting clay that you can buy at Walmart (and the like) that my kids have used to put up posters in their rooms. All it takes is a little bit in all four corners on the backside. It's generally easy to remove--even after several months or a year, and doesn't require putting nail holes in the wall or door.

The best way i know how is to put them up with thumb tacks...I have also seen at the stores where you can buy some sort of sticky things to put them up with, i'm not sure of the name tho, but when you take your poster down, there are no holes! You could probably call your local store & find out if they sell them. Good luck

Blue Tac. You can buy it at office supply stores. Comes in multi-packs;made in Austrailia. To use break off a piece, roll into a small ball apply to poster corners annd center and press onto the wall. When you're ready it will come off without damaging the wall.

I usually use thumbtacks/push pins, but they leave holes in the walls. Ticky-tak/Handy-tak also works well. If you're desperate, use tape. It doesn't work well from my experience, especially on textured walls.

I would either frame it, or use 3M poster tape squares (they won't damage your wall and are removable)

in a acrylic poster frame, and 3M hooks… nail holes drive me crazy or should I say crazier… ;) tacks are umm... tacky ;P
3m poster strips are the best - if you dont want frames... or adhesive putty works too..
