I dont suffer of acne scars ,but i know a friend, the first thing you need to do its try to keep your pores open so they dont clog ,try to prevent the breakouts and use Neutrogena to keep your skin clean and oil free, then when you prevent new breakouts .In the morning ,use ''OIL FREE ACNE WASH OF NEUTROGENA'' ,and buy ''proactive solution'' and practice the 3 steps ,it works believe me .You will see in some months the improve in your face.Good luck you are not alone..

Good Lord Sam!! DO NOT put alcohol on scar!! All it does is irritate them and make them stand out. Proactive is not going to work, that is for oil based blemishes. I have scars (had) on my face, legs and arms (very active child) and my doctor recommended MEDERMA. You can find it in any pharmacy. It worked great for me without over drying or over moisturizing. It didn't make them disappear, but they faded to where they are barely visible.

You can buy a fade cream from any local drug store. If that does not work for you, go to your dermatologist and get a prescription with a little more strength than the OTC products. And if that don't work go to the Neverland Ranch and find out what Michael Jackson uses.

Apparently rosehip oil is good for scars, stretchmarks and skin in general. I've just bought a load of it. good luck.
