Everything kinda seemed like it was on fast forward. The first conversation, the first date, the first kiss, revealing that we had "never felt this way before." I think there was real potential, but when two people barely know each other, a little mistake isn't easily forgiven. It's not like a relationship where people really know each other and can deal with the fact that nobody is perfect. So again, my question is, how can two people who dove into a potential relationship start over when things don't go as planned. Maybe a relationship was never meant to be, and if that's the case, then fair enough. But what if there was true potential, then what should they do?

I think you two should talk. Talk about if you really want to still have a relationship. If there are agreed feelings to this, then you really should just start COMPLETELY over. Take it as if you still have to go on your "first date". Second chances really aren't too much to ask for. Everyone deserves a second chance.

I just went thru this, so weird that this question would come up. Well what I did was take a break, we didn't talk for a couple days and then when we started talking again the air had cleared a little and we started seeing each other again but we just limit it now. We don't spend the night everytime and we don't spend every day together now, we gave each other more space. You are right, when you move too fast, there isn't enough trust and comfort to get thru the hard times, you need that history of really knowing each other for a longer period. You can still salvage it if you guys still like each other, just resist the urge to let things get out of hand again.

I think that you both need to sit down and talk about where you are now in the relationship. If you feel that yall have moved to fast then let the other know. I also think that yall need to see what it is that you have in common. Its not to late to save this relationship. The potential may very well still be there. You just have to find it again. Maybe you should take a break from one another to determine if saving your relationship is what you really want. All I can say is have patience and if it is meant to be then it will be.

Some things r just meant 2 be... if that attraction was so strong, that in itself meant something. Keep trying over time you can get 2 a point where u will develope that knowledge about each other... all relationships take work, no matter what kind they r.

Do you guys like each other? Does he love you? Do you love him? Do you guys fight a lot? Do you guys ignore each other when you are mad about someone else and claim you don't want to talk to anyone because you are too mad? That means you don't have a good relationship because you can't talk to him about everything and he can't talk to you about everything. Do you spend a lot of time with him? Does it seem like he likes talking to you and spending time with you? All of these ?'s only you can answer. Good luck to yah and do wut your heart tells yah to do. PEACE!

If both people want to start over again, then they can. If one doesn't...then there's nowhere to go but each their own separate way.
