I have very curly hair which I love and I have been trying to figure out why everyone is so crazy about straight hair. It takes forever to do and causes so much damage! Oh and by the way I look just like my Avitar!!!

Personal opinion I guess. plus, most major stars are doing the whole 'straight hair' thing, and i guess its some sort of sexiness tied to it.
I like wavy hair better than curly hair, but straightening does damage to my hair. Some people have naturally straight hair, and curling does damage for them. Go figure.

I think we all usually want what we don't have
. I have absolutely stick straight hair, I have spent a lot of money over the years trying to curl my hair. The last several, I have quit fighting it, and just go with what I have most of the time. (but I do color my greys. LOL Not ready to look old yet. )

Depends on your face really. I like wavy hair on some, straight on others, and curly can look amazing on some women.

I don't know... I have naturally wavy hair and i have a sister who straightens her hair 3 times a day! She keeps telling me to straighten my hair so i look "cooler" but i never do because it's stupid. Why bother? I like to go for more of a natural look.

Honey: There is actually no deal at all. I am with you on being honest and having what God gave me. Those who straighten are simply insecure and desire to emulate someone else who couldn't care less about them.
Kudos and much love to you.
Mr. M on "straight hair."

It looks really sleek and pulled together... so do perfectly shaped & glossed curls and ringlets, but in my opinion, it's just a lot easier to squeeze some Biosilk in your hair and swipe it with a flat iron than to get perfect curls.

I have naturally wavy hair and couldn't get it straight if I tried. I don't get it either.
