My bf is acting weird lately. He is very rarely affectionate and when I try to be affectionate towards him he behaves as though I am bothering him. When I get home in the evenings he doesn't even greet me cheerily. I always feel like I am being ignored and when I ask him what the problem is he just sits there and doesn't respond. he literally pretends as though I am not there. Sometimes I feel like he has mood swings and it is driving me nuts. I wanted to watch a DVD that he rented and watched already and just as I was about to begin watching it he came in the living room and asked if I was going to finish watching the movie. I told him yes and he said he would take the other one back if I don't want to watch it. Then he added a snotty remark that he is gonna be sure to take it back to the video store because I would not drive around and do it for anybody else. He then took up the DVD and walked out the door without saying anything else. Is this it for us?

It shoulkd be. you don't have to put up with this and the longer you do, the longer it will be before you find someone who loves you and you can love in return.

He may be going through issues at work or with friends that may be affecting his mood. He could also be trying to get you to dump him by acting like a jerk. The best thing to do is ask him if something is bothering him. If he says no ask him flat out if he wants to be in a relationship right now. If you don't want to be confrontational you could always just "do your own thing" for a week or so and see if he straightens up.
