Another ridiculous question. Nobody is invading Iran. But we may take out some nuclear facilities!
As far as Iraq and your "huge failure", well you're wrong.
Read some US military history. In WW2, did we give up when Pearl Harbor was hit? Did we give up after the travesty in North Africa? How about Guadacanal?
You don't understand America, or Americans for that matter. Don't believe everything you're told. Obviously you have access to the internet, and if your government is not restricting you, it is not that difficult to learn something about the US that is not propaganda.
We are winning in Iraq, and that's the last thing Iran, Al Qaida, or any other radical terrorist group wants.
Also, big surprise, there's people around the world that want the US to fail. That's only been going on for about 231 years. Hope you're not one of them, and if you are, realize that Americans don't hate you...
Got to have a sense of humor, nice image there Samc! That's what non Americans will never get, a movie like that.... LOL

Speaking for all United Statesians I would like to reassure you we do not wish to commit ground troops to Iran. However, some of us, United Statesians, would be willing to drop a few bombs here and there on some Iranese infrastructure. While other, even more radical, United Statesians would like to see a mushroom cloud sprout over Tehran.
LOL Just read the post before mine. Couldn't help picturing Bluto in Animal House. Did we give up when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell no! (Germans? quiet he's on a roll)

Huge failure? Invading a country, removing its leader, overthrowing its government in what, 2 weeks?! Installing a new government and giving them all the tools they need to succeed in the preceding years. Yeah that's failure. The Iraqis have failed, failed to lead themselves.
If I was Iran I would be very scared. All we need to do is go in there and 3 weeks later there government would be gone and chaos would reign - if we wanted to just leave it that way. Iran should be very afraid. All this while only losing 3000+ men up until this point and causing our economy to flourish in the process. Yeah, we suck. (sarcasm)
Exactly what was your point again???

No, it's too close to the end of his term and his approval ratings are too low. With a democratic congress, there is pretty much zero chance he could get the approval or the money to do so. Iraq was a pretty damn good lesson not to do that stuff again, and it might cost the GOP the next presidential election.

AND BLOW THEM OFF OF THE FACE OF THE EARTH. Iraq is only a failure in the eyes of the liberal media and liberals world wide. Clearly, liberals have it all wrong. I can't believe I hear this crap from the likes of France, etc. as we expended so much energy and lives giving back their freedom. Bend over if you want, but the U.S. is NOT full of cowards--only cowards in the Democrat party.

I think very few Americans want to invade anybody anymore. We don't even want to stay in Iraq. But I personally think we will be establishing a base in Iraq, so that we can oversee the "peacekeeping" in the Middle East. If you can call it that...
