No. Don't have a Valentine's Day gift ready for him. Don't even send him a card. It's his job to woo you. Men have greater respect for a woman that is difficult for them to get and if you start with the gift and card thing it makes you appear too needy.

Well he did already give you the flowers and chocolates, so maybe you can return the favor. I think it was a gesture to let you know he likes you. Which I find very sweet. I think you should return some sort of a favor to let him know you like him as well. It would be weird if he gave you another gift on Vday and you still hadn't given him something. I personally am all about giving. That's how I let someone know I like them and appreciate them.

No problems here! LOL. If he gives you a gift on V-day, just give him a belated one! Theres always better late than never. Don't rush things, looks likes he knows what he wants and he's going for it! We need more guys like that these days. But yeah I wouldnt be the first to give the gift though, thats the only thing...

Just go with the flow. You can get him a gift but do not go overboard you know maybe something small that he has mentioned that he likes or that you can tell by hanging out with him that he likes. That would be kinda weird but v-day is weird because you never know what to do.

There is no need to prepare to give him anything.
You are not dating, nor are you even a couple yet.
If he gets you something, then great! Thank him, say that was very nice, and discuss a date.
On a side note, if he was to get you anything, its a bit premature if you ask me. You are not dating really.. if he wants to do something that makes sense, he can ask you out to dinner only for Valentines, with no attachment.

I hope you are at least of adult age.... If some guy came into my office and then tried dating my underage daughter...I'd be pretty upset as a dad.
As far as a gift...have a card in your purse. If he gives you anything...give it to him. But if he doesn't...don't. It's worth $4.00 dollars to have a card ready.... just in case.
4th of Feb? Isn't that super bowl sunday? If it is, don't be surprised if the date includes watching the game.

i think your planning to far in advance. first see how the date goes, who knows you may find that you dont like him.and even if the date goes well. i would not plan on getting him a gift. due to the fact that at that point it will only be 10 days. but good luck on your date!!
