God has a plan for your life and knows your future, but is it possible for you to screw that up? Like say God had an ideal mate, job and lifestyle for you but you made the wrong decision would God eventually lead you back to what he had for you?

for example like the story of Jonah, God told him to do something and decided against it, so God sent the big fish to eat him until Jonah said he was going to do what God said and in the end he still didnt want to do it in the first place.

Forget "eventually" -- God isn't "watching us... from a distance" as the mistaken song says. He is in the middle of things -- quietly, but very effectively.

He is especially in the thick of things for those who love Him and trust Him. It is quite possible to mess stuff up in life, to be sure, but God can fix anything, and God can do anything.

If you're ever worried about anything, ask Him for help: Tell Him, "God, I'm worried I'm going to mess up [fill in the blank]. Please help! Help me do this right."

Or something along those lines. The exact wording is not that important -- The Bible tells us that one of the main things that the Holy Spirit does for Christians is to "intercede" for us when we pray, telling the Father what we *really* meant to say, interceding "with groans too deep for words" (Romans 8:26), and God the Father understands exactly what He means.

In short, if you're worried or concerned about anything like what you're talking about, talk to Him about it.

I've had several of those same concerns myself.

It is a mystery - can you figure it out?

God is all knowing. He knows His plan and how it will all turn out - every bit of it....yet He gives man free will to choose to go this way or that... How can that be?

I know our finite brains can never fully understand the infinite greatness of God, but I think it has to do with the fact that God is timeless (without restraints of time and space) so what is going to happen tomorrow is already in His knowing because He is also present in "tomorrow" and "next year" and throughout eternity. That's just how my little mind thinks on the subject - no Biblical basis for it at all.

But I do know that God is Faithful, always. If He has called you, and you screw it up, it doesn't UNcall you. You just get a few lessons on your journey.

"All things work together for the good of those who love God and are the called according to His Purpose."

All things - even the screw ups. Get up and brush it off and keep running the race! Blessings.

We are rejecting God's plan every moment in our lives.
God's plan is that you give up all this nonsense plans of trying to be the Lord of material nature and give up suffering and come back to Him. We are making so ny maplans trying to enjoy, manipulate and accommodate this material world in order to live comfortable here, but that is impossible. You can not make a Latrine a nice place to live even if you clean it and decorate, Latrine is meant for passing stool, and as soon you do it, lets get out there. This world is like big toilet.

God is Omniscient, He knows the beginning from the end. God never says I didn't see that coming. Satan for the last 6,000 years has been trying to change God's plan, but hasn't been successful yet.

god has no plan /no expectations
he gave us life to of freewill to want to do good or want [choose] to sin.
its not a plan its a gift ,
god may well know how it turns out but we dont.
we all can stuff up thats why god has good grace
we are but child spirits sewn into the skins of flesh incarnation
we get the facts when we are all born again

a wrong decision only needs sincere repentants and solom vow not to be repeatred and all is forgiven
an eternal god wastes not eternity on mortal judgments.

God does not plan out each and everyone life. These are false teaching from Babylon.
Jehovah wants you to make your own decisions. To be proud or your good choices and to be responsible for your bad decisions.
Also he wants you to look for him, to search for him like you would a long lost friend.

I think that God gave us "free will" to make decisions about our lives, but He has also told us how to follow Him. When we stray from Him, and come back, I believe He will lead us in the right direction, but we have to be willing to take that direction.

you are not a puppet. God is powerful enough to work with anything you can throw at him. In my opinion.. Have you ever read any of the "conversation with God "books? If you get a chance check out their web site.

Free will would not be free if you could shuttle around long enough to return to that point. The great news is love covers sin and allows us to move forward to even greater blessings. Check out Romans 8.
Blessings,
