Why do fart sometimes burn?

Also, sometimes they smell like rotten eggs and/or burning rubber.

In both cases it is usually because of what you have eaten. Hot foods and condiments can go through our systems and burn coming out. Rotten eggs - I know it is none of my business but are you going regularly? It could be that things are sitting to long and putrefying.
