You don't unless the whole computer is configured for this purpose (as in film production). To capture what's on the screen as a single frame press the Print Screen button, this captures the screen image and can then be pasted into a program which supports graphics.
Some software will capture movies that are played on your screen but all they're doing is effectively the same as a tape to tape copy.
To get a moving image of the screen you'd have to film the screen with a video camera or web cam.

Snagit and Camtasia are excellent choices for what you want to do. Both can capture video of your computer activity that can be easily e-mailed or saved.
Snagit, is more for making videos of your computer activity, capturing images and text.
Camtasia is better suited for making higher quality presentations, tutorials.
I have both programs and actually use them quite often. They have proven to be very useful tools.
Hope this helps!

more advantageous exhibit screen capture professional is a difficulty-free, sensible and efficient exhibit screen recording software that would want to help you capture exhibit screen activities and sounds to traditional AVI video report or EXE report. it would want to list some thing you spot and sound out of your gadget microphone.

i had a good program i downloaded free.the name of it was "System Surveillance".It Recoded Keystrokes, took a picture of the screen every 30sec.,recorded chat room conversations,Emails, loged all web sites visited.it did everything.the problem was that my antivirus kept detecting it as spyware on my computer, and kept erasing the program.and i got tired of re-installing it.so i let it go.i dont remember what sight i got it from, but the name of it is System Surveillance". Good Luck
