there are two of many links
one is for care packages, as a soldier that was stationed in a foreign land care packages are most welcome, just knowing that someone cares is awesome. a real spirit lifter.
the other is support for military families, many forget that there are families with loved ones serving in harms way
i support our troops, i hope you do too, i am not asking that you support the war, just please support the troops in OUR armed forces.

Contact your local Red Cross or Veterans of Foreign Wars, also, you can find units posted on the web, and finally, with a little searching you can find a lot of organizations, also on the web, that are already doing what you want to do - get an address from those sources and send away. Soldiers will really appreciate it!

The easiest way would be to find a local recuiters office and go talk to someone there. Just tell them you'de like to send some things to the troops in Iraq or anywhere else, and they'll either tell you who to talk to, or they'll tell you what to do.
Another thing is to look for local military support groups that gather things to send over there. My brother is in Iraq right now so my mom looked around and found a large group in a nearby town that works together in creating big packages to send to them.

Email Soldier Angels.
Soldiers' Angels is a wonderful non-for-profit run by some of the best Americans around - military moms! There, you can adopt soldiers or whole platoons of soldiers, send care packages, emails. You name it. You can even help the wounded soldiers as they come back from overseas. And you donations are tax deductible.

The ladies at my church spent the day making cookies to send when the war first started. They really enjoyed them.

If you are a person who prays...then pray for the brave souls fighting for our country.
Many of the schools have a list of soldiers that you can write to and tell them how thankful we all are. It will make their day.
