I used to have amazing skin.. but it's been so bad in the past 2 years or so. In the past few months it's gotten a bit worse. Still not really as bad as most teens, but there's acne on my forehead, I believe! I also have acne on my back and chest (ew, I know).. is there a wash that will guarantee it to go away? I want to get a good face wash and/or scrub to help with my face, because I want something to get rid of the acne & illuminate my face, as it's been duller lately. If anyone also knows if that k-ta solution stuff (it's called something similar to that) for the under-eyes works? i want to completely fix my face acne (which although moderate, seems to be ruining my days) and my body acne as well as my lack of illumination in my face! help!

I had bad acne my whole life (since I was 9!!!). It got pretty bad when I was 17 / 18. Creams were NOT working on my face, no matter how many the derm gave me or how strong they were. I went on birth control and it cleared it RIGHT UP! $12 per month at Planned Parenthood.

have you been stressing lately? try using like st ives, neautrogena, clean&clear, and olay is one of the best products out there. buy depending on your skin, if its dry/normal use a cream cleanser, if its oily use a daily scrub, a toner/astringent, and a daily moisturizer with spf, and that'll illuminate your face too, i know that olay has one. use them in this order. also the astringent use a cotton ball and dab it on the face. do this daily i know it can be a drag but'll really help a lot. for your body acne use the neutrogena body wash, and buy a back scrubber and use daily. also try doin facials, home made ones are fun. heres one that'll help with acne:
Acne Prone Skin Recipe
What You'll Need:
1 cup Oatmeal, non instant
3-5 fresh strawberries
3 Tbs. Strongly Brewed Chamomile Tea
Grind the oatmeal and strawberries in a blender for at least 5 minutes. Add tea by the Tablespoon until you get a paste like consistency. If the mixture is too runny add Oatmeal, too thick add more strawberries or tea. Apply mixture and let dry. Rinse.
i also have one for dry skin:
Dry Skin Recipe
What you'll need:
1 cup Oatmeal, non instant
1/4 cup banana, or avocado smashed
1 capsule Vit. E
1 Tsp. Honey
Grind the oatmeal, banana or avocado and honey in the blender. Pierce the Vit. E capsule and squeeze contents into mixture. Blend for 5 minutes. If mixture is too thick add milk by the Tablespoonful until you get a paste-like consistency. Apply facial to skin and let dry. Rinse. Unused mixture can be stored for up to 2 days, sealed, in the fridge.
And the Sensitive Skin Recipe
What You'll Need:
1 cup Oatmeal, non instant
3 Tbs. strongly brewed Chamomile Tea
1/2 medium mashed banana
Grind the oatmeal and banana in a blender for at least 5 minutes. Add tea by the tablespoon until you get a paste like consistency. You may have to add more tea if it remains too thick. If it gets too runny, add more oatmeal. Apply facial and let dry. Rinse. Unused mixture can be stored, sealed, for 1 day in the fridge.

Don't obsess too much. Acne can come and go with age and hormonal changes. Too much chemicals and soaps can make matters worse.
Don't waste your money on products advertised as most of them don't work and are expensive. Advertisers exploit your insecurity and desperation.
Go to a doctor (dermatologist) if you feel it's really excessive, but first read this:

i think you should see a dermatoligist if it's that bad.but there is one thing you can try,go to walgreens and buy a bottle of vitamin e 400 ius soft caps.cut it open and spread it all over the affected areas.it will help or get rid of it.i suggested the same thing to another friend of mine that had the same problem and trust me it works.good luck. pete
